Is your basic kpot restaurant with 28.99 for bqq and a 5$ upcharge with everyone on the table matching the option for hotpot, 6.99 for tea and has a good variety of options for alcoholic drinks, juice, and lemonades
Servers were plenty nice though didn’t start off with cutting scissors so did have to ask Came here for a birthday and had a great song done for the said person and was given a slice of cheesecake with whip cream and a cherry and a lit candle which was nice, seems like it’s one of the dessert bars cheesecakes but with extra stuff and tasted fresher
Sauce bar is decent though didn’t have a house sauce which was surprising since most do, had lemons, oranges, lemons, watermelon, cantaloupe, I think my only gripe would be that the only two options for dessert was cheesecake and a pudding, think that a bigger variety would be nice only because I am comparing it to other kbqq places I’ve been to and do like cakes or ice cream etc as options at the end Tables ranged from a setting of 2 seats at a table or booths that have 6 settings for hot pot and one grill, the grill is at the end of the table though so do have to have that side of the table do all the cooking basically Also you do have to tell your server at the start what items you want and if you’d like any more you do have to have them come by and put that in for you, not that all places do have it but a lot of restaurants do have tablets to place orders of items onto now so would keep that in mind when going It’s a nice place a decent dinner location but wouldn’t say there’s anything that sets it apart from others in the area...
Read moreTL/DR *So so, it's a cool concept with very poor execution.
My wife and I decided to try this place out this weekend during its grand opening. We've never been to a restaurant like this before and weren't familiar with the concept. Our waiter, while nice, did an absolutely terrible job explaining how things worked. For example, we were halfway through our first round of food before he told us of the free salad/sauce spice bar. Then he completely disappeared, and my wife sat foodless for at least 30 minutes. I finally got his attention from across the room and was motioned to calm down. He then comes over and says his ordering system is messed up and offers a 20% discount. (which ended up only being 15%) This is supposedly an all-you-can-eat restaurant that brings you raw meat to cook yourself tableside. It shouldn't matter about some ordering system; walk in the back and get my wife some food. It didn't appear that any other tables around us were affected by this, as their food continued to flow. After the system came back up, we got our next round of food, shortly followed by the bill, basically telling us we were done. Maybe it was grand opening issues, but I won't return for some time. The lack of service and having to argue for food at an all-you-can-eat place is off-putting.... Aaaand your clothes stink when you leave from cooking food so be...
Read moreAmazing food and service! Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and all smiles. I’ll definitely be bringing my family to try this place!
About the negative reviews— some people might not really get the concept of Hotpot and KBBQ. This place has very fresh ingredients, and the fun part is cooking and customizing your food exactly how you like it— from how it’s cooked to the sauces. There’s a sauce bar where you can mix your own dipping sauces for Hotpot and BBQ, plus a condiment/snack bar if you want a change of taste.
There are three options when ordering: the full experience (Hotpot & KBBQ) for $5 extra per person, or you can choose just KBBQ or just Hotpot at regular price. The whole table has to decide together before ordering.
If you’re new to this: Hotpot is basically a build your own noodle soup— you pick your broth, meat, veggies, dumplings, noodles, and whatever else you want in your soup. KBBQ is exactly what it sounds like— you get to grill your own meat and veggies at the table. If you’re still not sure, check out a video first! 😃
It’s an all-you-can-eat place, but just make sure you don’t waste food— there’s a 20% charge on your total bill if you do.
And most importantly, PLEASE tip your servers! They work hard to make sure you have the best...
