TERRIBLE SERVICE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!! I was originally a fan of this restaurant and ordered carryout from them many times- but after the EXTREMELY RUDE service I received- I think I'm done... At lunchtime I TRIED to place an online order and NEVER received a confirmation email, no phone call- NOTHING - and their site didn't seem to be working... No worries (or so I thought) I figured I'll try to order another time.. come dinner time, I tried again- got a confirmation email and drove to pick up the food. I get to the restaurant, give my name and right away the manager is EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL- scolding me for not picking up my lunch order from earlier. I firmly explained I NEVER received ANY INFO, the usual confirmation email- NOTHING.. and later ( when I spoke to her on the phone) she could NEVER give an explanation WHY I was NEVER CONTACTED via EMAIL OR PHONE about the failed lunch order. In the past whenever they had a question about my order, they CALLED ME and it was NEVER a problem. This time, the RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SO-CALLED "MANAGER" spoke non-stop about having to THROW AWAY FOOD and they don't SAVE FOOD and they weren't going to make my ONLINE CARRYOUT ORDER until I was PHYSICALLY IN THE BUILDING!!???!! An order that had been placed over 30 minutes ago at that time!!?? All because of something that WASN'T MY FAULT!!!?? And again I was NEVER CONTACTED... EVERY other restaurant GETS YOUR INFO/CONTACTS YOU if you don't PICK UP YOUR FOOD- Computer issues happen ALL THE TIME- I understand. This place has my info, if they had CONTACTED ME, explained they received the order- I would've explained I DIDN'T get the confirmation and I would've happily paid and collected my order asap... They're VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and treat customers like GARBAGE... Wanting the restaurant to fix my ONLINE CARRYOUT order BEFORE my arrival and to contact me if they're having technical issues- LIKE ANY OTHER RESTAURANT, is all I'm asking for- that's not an outrageous request. Read moreHorrible horrible terrible customer service from the female manager. I have been here many times I would like to share and have never had a problem. The food is great and the chefs are really nice. I wanted to get a take out meal today and was not greeted by a hostess, server, or manager. I was not asked to wait or informed that they were not able to assist me. There were 2 groups of people that walked in after me and they waitress took those people and sat them down at a table before even asking me what I needed help with. Finally, the manager herself came to help me and I stated that I wanted a take out order, but that I wanted to know that wait time for 1 meal before I actually placed the order. She stated I had to order before she could tell me a wait time while being completely disrespectful and hostile. I asked her why we were not greeted in a reasonable time frame and while other people were helped before us who came in after and she said that the lady working is not a hostess and she didn't see us standing there. While she did apologize for that ,she was very very mean for the rest of our interaction with her . I really love their food which is why after all that I was still willing to place my order and wait while they made it, but whenever she raised her voice at me after not knowing if I wanted the lunch or the dinner serving of a particular dish, I decided to leave out of disgust. Read moreMy family has not been there for a couple months so we wanted to give it another try and the one thing about a place like this is that when you arrive for dinner don't plan to eat whenever you get there but places like these you have to eat when enough people get to the table to serve everyone, this is one of my pet peeves about these hibachi grills however I play along and I only attend because my seven-year-old son appreciates the show more than the food he may or may not consume, food was great, the service was as expected for a West Side hibachi but I really had an issue with the manager when needing the attention of the only Caucasian server will tell her," girl, where is the silverware,?", "girl, that table is not yours that belongs to her", judging by the server we had, she had been there less than 30 days there, but I have had experience as a GM in the business and I always accommodate to new Talent with training , so when I see the managers but as a leader, that's no way to talk to your employees and I think that once this place has better management it will generate more Revenue through all seasons and not just the summer , winter is a time to drive sales and give people a reason to go and spend your money, we obviously went for convenience...
