Placeed an order for an Italian sub made with the toppings of my preference which was not made correctly and due two not driving and riding with Lyft I was not able to return the food right away call back to report my order was inaccurate ask to speak to a manager manager answered phone and asked me if I wanted to speak to the manager or the owner which I felt was sort of upset up because so-called manager must have been familiar with the owner conducting itself in an unprofessional manner that he already knew he will be very rude nasty unprofessional and unkind to me as being the customer it was obvious this behavior is been going for a while cuz owner was very comfortable with speaking in a very derogatory disrespectful manner and had no regards for his behavior or how he conducted himself and spoke to me as the customer spoke to me in a very condescending way and I was so prefixed they are still in business with the manner that he conducted himself he cursed at me as if I didn't just spend $23 at his place of business obviously in the Assumption of believing I was trying to receive free food by calling back making a complaint about either a replacement order or my money back he offered to replace my order and refund and told me that I must still have the food in order to get reimbursed or order remade and to put my food in the refrigerator until I'm back in the area again to bring it back in to replace the order from there it went from a unprofessional conversation I would not advise anyone to do business with this company although he claims they've been in business for 30 something years I just cannot see that continuing to last too much longer with the way he conducted himself as a professional business person taking people's money and not giving them the sense of satisfaction it's sad with these personal business owners a corporated business would not have been able to conduct in such a manner after all of the discrepancy and the unprofessionalism that was provided I don't even want them to...
Read moreTo be clear, this one star is in reference to the boss or manager and the environment that is created in the store. Aside from this, it would be a 5 star experience. Last night, I unexpectedly walked into a very unpleasant incident. My review is meant as a caution to other who might unexpectedly walk into a similar scenario. As I have no way of contacting the company, I am forced to communicate it here publicly.
The pizza is amazing.
The staff is super sweet.
However, beware of the environment. Unfortunately, last night, I walked in to pick up an order. When I walked in, someone who I believe to be a manager or a boss in a green shirt, was throwing things and VERY LOUDLY screaming obscenities at his employees. Terrible words. As a lady and a customer, I was subjected to this. If I had had children with me, that would have been increasingly problematic. I was taken aback and appalled. The staff up front apologized profusely. I felt bad for them as they appeared to be working hard and did not deserve this. No matter the stress, this is not how you treat employees. Furthermore, no customer should be forced to experience this. I should not walk into an environment as a lady and a consumer and feel threatened- and I did. But at least I was able to leave. There is a better way to handle conflict and stress. This is not how you treat people, be they employees, or customers.

Read moreI have been a Forrest Park resident for over 20 years. And I'm an excellent tipper, usually over 20%. I had guests staying at my home who placed an order with Granddad's. The order was incorrect, the driver took food back and returned with the order that was still wrong. One day I placed a pick up order. GRANDAD's Pizza waited until I drove to their shop to tell me I was on a "block list". The employee would not allow me to place a to go order. I needed to speak to the mgr Steve to resolve. I called as well as left messages several times. I was ignored. The manager never returned my call. This was a one time hiccup attributed to me, even after explaining, it was guests at my home that placed the order. I was ignored and dismissed after over 20 years with no incidents by myself. I would or almost weekly. Poor customer service. Poor treatment of a long time customer. Granddad's is good, but they ain't that good. If you want a sub that's made with meats that truly taste of an Italian sub or a delicious mouthwatering pizza - ANTOLINOS is it. Plus on Mondays you can get a large pepperoni for $6.00!!!
