Joe's Pizza — Restaurant in Columbus

We wanted to try a new pizza place in Columbus tonight, photos of the pizza looked good from previous reviews. We ordered carry-out and the lady did not give me a price after ordering just said 20 minutes, not a bad wait time and I wasn’t to upset about it. We got a large Ham and Bacon pizza with extra sauce under the cheese, some pizza places put the extra sauce on top. We were very disappointed with the pizza, it was over cooked our toppings were burnt. They were very stingy with the toppings as well. I feel like the pizza would’ve been really good if it had more toppings and wasn’t over cooked. Unfortunately, we probably won’t try this place a second time… I was so disappointed thinking I was going to get what looks like mouth watering delicious pizza from pictures in reviews from others… wish that was the experience we had. But the wait time wasn’t...

It’s always difficult when you are letting your baby bird fly the coupe and learn how to enter the workforce. I attempted having my child work at Joes over the summer (they are currently still on payroll but won’t be working until Joe agrees to speak with me like a professional adult, so far he’s refused and cursed at my child and hung up instead). It’s sad because the experience was horrible to say the least and illegal to say the most (asking a child to work on a school day WITHOUT A PERMIT TOO). It’s a shame because I was hopeful they would instill family values as well as a certain level of professionalism. If you’re looking for a place to work; this is not the place. Food is so delicious too....

Can't comment on their pizza..... I called to order delivery, I was told I must download Grubb Hub and order it there. I questioned her answer and simply asked if I could just order it while on the phone. Sounded like a reasonable request, I thought. She had a melt down and passed the phone off to someone else. Needless to say they did not get our business, we odered elsewhere $75- I had called it in because it was a difficult order. Sorry JOE, but you should take people's deliveries over the phone if for no other reason than to make money. Guess you all are doing so well during covid that u can turn business away....
