Much better service ! They kept an eye on the order line. Noone waited more than 15 seconds. I don't know what happened to the lazy employee, hopefully got a reprimand or fired or quit. I have minus stars in August now I'll give positive 3 stars. Keep working and I'll see if you get 5 stars. .............. In August 2022,I was at the KFC on US 31 in Columbus Indiana. I was in line and also 3 other people. I was next to order. The person at the cash register walked away and disappeared. I waited a few minutes but he never came back. I waited more than 5 minutes. Noone was at the register. A person was bringing orders up to the counter but never acknowledged there was a line. Finally someone came to the register. I asked for the manger. He was the manger and the guy bring orders to the counter. I explained what happened and he apologized but his attitude was one of apathy. This is unacceptable behavior. I know it was busy, but in customer service you do not walk away. It doesn't matter if it was his break, he should've ran the register until someone can take over. I did not order. I left. I am not happy. KFC lost money. A business cannot be operated in this manner and hope to stay in business. Hopefully, this was a one time event. I might try again and see what happens. I hope one day everyone decides to walk out on you. You don’t deserve their work. And if you do get it I hope it’s the bare minimum. I wouldn’t be mad at them. You are discouraging and almost abusive to those people! I have never heard anyone talk out of line the way you did as superior! You are unprofessional I do not see how you manage to keep your position.. unless sadly all of those poor young people keep their mouth shut. I could only imagine what they have to go through for a paycheck.. very very sad. Such a bad example for future employees and managers.. I’ve watched kfc go down hill for years now. Read moreI bought the $30 chicken bucket with tenders, biscuits and two sides. First they forgot the sauces I asked for so I went in to get them. I asked if we could do two breasts in the bucket, mind you I was willing to pay extra to do it. I was told yes they could do that and then they didn't. I ended up with one breast and five of the tiniest pieces of chicken I have ever seen. The tenders and the chicken were cold and old. The sides of mash with gravy, the biscuits and coleslaw were the only things good. It's disappointing cause this is the second time an order hasn't been right but we decided to give them another chance. The service was so so. The drive thru cashier didn't seem to be thrilled to be there and you could tell. And of course to top it off they didn't give me a receipt. I'll eat that one cause I should have asked, but they should also be giving all customers a receipt. I'd rather sit and wait for the Popeyes chicken this town may never get before I go back...
