China Buffet — Restaurant in Columbus

Went here Nov 18 2023. They were very nice letting us check the buffet before purchasing. There were so many choices and it all looked great!

It was a really nice addition with the hibachi grill too. Which was great & we all ended up getting some. Even though the drinks were self serve, they were so sweet to bring our first drinks & continue to come over periodically for refills. That was very nice since we were a part of 7.

We were on a crunch for time, but I think everything tasted great! The general tsao was different and way better than any I've had! Was kinda liquidy, but I took and chance and was very pleased. Glad that it wasn't overly spicy or sweet like most places. Honesty, the sauce being more liquid probably helped there.

This place has gone downhill. It is a shame.

The place used to be livelier and the food was better. But now food looks like it has been out too long. Noodles are overcooked. The fish is left sitting in water and doesn't look appetizing at all.

They don't even know to keep the rice paddle in water to keep the rice from sticking to it.

Then there's the staff. They aren't unfriendly but they are not on the ball. I came in to find the girl on her phone and when I asked how their system worked, she had to call another woman who was busy to come to the front.

None of them seem to understand their customers and wouldn't know if a customer was saying call 911 or asking for a glass of water.

You guys need to get...

the food is good here the people are kind I go here frequently I love it I've only ever had one person glare at me over a 2dollar tip I tip on service and it wasn't the best that day they served mussles a lot of places don't anymore I absolutely love thos and they have a lot of choices I see a lot of people commenting and complaining but they went to a buffet because it's cheap and they are expecting 5 star service and want to pay McDonald's price just dosent work like that only real complaint are the restrooms and the fish need more enrichment and better care but overall I'm never disappointed in the...
