I'm really sad today. I went to Norma's and I usually love it and I have been going since they opened but today was the worse time ever. Because I havea large family I call in my order and when it wasn't all there I called them and let them know and it was fine. Not upset so I go up there and pick up round 2 of my order and I'm met with attitude and doubts. I let them know that my daugter was missing part of her order which i didn't know when I called ir I would have said so. So when the waitress goes to the back she said I guess I need this as well. I couldn't believe it. These people are usually so nice. So now I can hear the other waitress talking to the first waitress and she is saying i know i did they just want it for free. Nope I'm not wanting it for free or I would have demanded my money back. So she proceeds to come up to me and says are you sure these items weren't in the bag? I said yes I am sure. She rolled her eyes at me and walked away like this was the worse thing in the world. When they finally handed me the rest of my order I said if i had known this was such a big deal I wouldn't have called back. She said it wasn't but knew she had been caught talking about her customers. So now needless to say I won't be going back and some people might say that doesn't matter they have enough customers well I have a large family of 7 and spend quite a bit when I do call in my order. I just can't believe they don't know that the place echos enough for their customers to hear them at the register where I...
Read moreBeautiful little hometown diner. The staff is lovely and friendly, the food is delicious. Large portions of home cooked goodness, quality plus quantity with great low prices. I think the highest priced item on the entire menu was 13.99 for a ribeye steak, which is awesome in itself. Saturday and Sunday they have all you can eat, and Sandra (one of the waitresses, who is lovely and charming) told me that their catfish is devine... 10.99 for all you can eat catfish on the weekend. How cool is that?! Today I had strawberry pancakes with my eggs, bacon, and hash browns. The pancakes were almost as big as the plate they came on, and they were so light and fluffy. The biscuits and gravy were awesome too, they know how to make real country gravy here. I was delighted by every aspect at Norma's, and I'm already planning my next visit lol. I strongly recommend this diner to anyone looking for a delicious home cooked meal, a friendly waitress with a smile, and leaving with a full belly without emptying their wallet. This place is an...
Read moreI come from a restaurant family. My wife and I and several church friends "discovered" this diner a few months ago. I have never seen such a well run restaurant like this. The staff was efficient and friendly and the cooks were A+. For a diner using top of the line products the prices were very fair and reasonable. Today my friend and I ordered the two eggs, hashbrowns, toast and 6oz. ribeye meal. Wow!! Out of this world!! My wife ordered the catfish dinner and said it's the best she's ever had! The price was really unbelievablely low. The owner is one of the nicest owners I've ever met . This is a hidden gem. Try it, I guarantee you...
