Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Columbus

VERY VERY clean and well kept. Park & order from board. Food brought to your car, always nice staff, a little bit of a wait but not bad, pay at order board with card or pay carhop...tipping carhop either form of payment you choose suggested. Drive thru usually a little bit of a wait...my morning drive-thrus the wait has been horrible, esp for people usually heading to work, even with only 1or2 cars ahead of me...I'd say this is the only downfall to this establishment. Outside tables for dining, eating in your car, or leaving with food all options. Ordering ahead service I have yet to use. Order online avb but only opt to pay I've found todate is a sonic card though someone told me a personal card use is avb but they'd been unsuccessful in making work. Food is always good, hot and usually right (burgers are good & very filling) Prices comparable to any fastfood place. Recommend...

Normally I enjoy sonic because the food is decent and the cheese sauce on pretzels and corn dogs is delicious. But it's hard to enjoy when that specific order is consistently unfulfilled. Ordered ranch with buffalo nuggets and cheese sauce with the PREZTELS WITH CHEESE option would imply a desire for ranch and cheese sauce which shows up on the receipt. Ranch appeared, didn't get it. Asked twice for cheese sauce, once when ordering and once again when confirming in the hopes they realized we wanted cheese sauce with our pretzels, as advertised. But it didn't get in the bag and upon inspection, didn't get on the receipt either. It wasn't read back and we weren't told if they were out, they just ignored it....

I personally think Sonic did an amazing job today!! I went twice today and for being the first day open they had my big orders out in under 10 minutes without any issues. It honestly took me longer to figure out what I wanted than it did for them to bring my food out. Everyone was super polite and you dont always get that in Columbus. I want to personally thank an employee I didn't catch the name of. I got out of my car to pick up some litter the car next to me threw out and I stood and smoked a cigarette with this guy and I just wanted to thank him for being friendly. Hopefully this gets back to Sonic and it at least puts a smile on someone's face because I think they did a...
