Refused to give us our mobile order
I don't usually write bad reviews, but the drive-thru employee we talked to at Taco Bell tonight has given me some great motivation. My boyfriend placed a mobile order pickup through Doordash, and because the lobby was closed, he waited through the drive-thru for about 30 minutes. The heavy traffic, of course, isn't anyone's fault, but 30 minutes (plus the time between placing the order and getting to the location) is definitely enough time to make an order, so we knew something was up when he'd gotten to the speaker and the man claimed they didn't have the order. The man told him to pull up anyways, to which he waited for them just to tell him they didn't have the order again.
My boyfriend told them he paid for it, and the lady at the window said there was "nothing we can do," so my boyfriend proceeded to ask if they could make the food he paid for. Shortly after, the man appeared at the window and raised his voice, saying that there's nothing they could do because they don't have the receipt for it. My boyfriend then said he has the receipt, but the man proceeded to argue and said "well, I don't have the receipt. You have it, but I don't." He tried to explain that he could just show them the receipt, and the man blamed my boyfriend for "holding up the line." In effort to not hold up the line, he asked to make another order for what he paid for, and he would just pay for it again and ask Doordash for the refund for his other order. The man angrily and repeatedly reminded him he would have to pay for it, which was known information. He continually talked over him and then called him "f*ing stupid" for making the order.
Once he finally received his order (which was made incorrectly, of course), the man immediately shut the door so that my boyfriend couldn't ask for anything else if he needed it. This is the absolute worst service we have ever received at a Taco Bell (or anywhere). A word of caution for anyone who wants late night TBell at this location, it is...
Read moreFour years later they're still piss poor. Lines improved. The quality of food has gone down drastically. . . Either your burrito hasn't been prepped properly is half the size it's supposed to be or with like their grilled cheese burrito the cheese is still cold to the touch let alone being melted. . . They just toss that stuff in the wrapper with the burrito 😑. You asked for sauce you might get it one out of seven times. You pay extra for guacamole hell I haven't seen guacamole out of this place in the last 3 years. . . They'll say it but now that we've got kids I kid you not I'm not going to sit in that parking lot and check every little thing at that point I have to check every little thing my children do. . . That's how you turn a 1 hour excursion into a 24-hour process. The drinks are only accurate say 60% of the time. One out of five engagements you're going to get somebody with an attitude guarantee it. And they haven't had regular people in ages. This is what happens when we forsake wisdom.
Every time I am there I wait at least 20 minutes fine in and some times as much for drive thru. Sometimes in the drive thru is can be 10 minutes wait per car. The three times I have gone this year my order was wrong. Most recent time I was scolded because I didn't repeat my order to the line cook 5 minutes in. Because it was to inconvenient for her to turn around and review the screen 5 feet from her where my order was posted. I don't get paid for that I am paying them for that. . . 5 years ago me and my with would do Tacobell Tuesdays here. They were courteous, effective, and a welcoming atmosphere. Now I regret...
Read moreI would like to preface by saying that I visit this location 2-3 times per week, on average. I’m a vegetarian, so it’s pretty much the only fast food place I can go to. Today I received a Crunchwrap with ground beef on it. Given that this restaurant has messed up and put meat on my items instead of black beans, I assumed it was a restaurant error. It turns out that my online order didn’t have the edit for black beans. I asked for a replacement, but was told that they can’t do that. I’ve worked in food service for years. If a customer has an ordering error that contains an allergen, you still remake the food. No questions asked. The staff was very kind in telling me they couldn’t remake it without me paying for a new one. I would love to change this to a five stars, so if a manager could reach out to me through email or something, that would be great. Given how much I frequent the restaurant, it just feels terrible that the ONE time I have ever failed to make sure a substitution is proper, I can’t get a simple remake of an item. Again, I’ll change this to five stars if I can talk to a manager and...
