Kabob Time Mediterranean Halal Food Truck — Restaurant in Columbus

I wasn’t going to leave a review, because as my friend previously said, maybe the man taking our order was having a bad day, but his response saying we “came with hate” warranted a response. It was my birthday, and I’ve been to this food truck many times and I ALWAYS recommend it to my friends because I love gyros and they make great food here. But the man at the front was incredibly rude to me just because I was taking a picture of myself and with my friends in front of his truck while my other friends were ordering from him. It was all of our intentions to order food, until he kept making comments towards me and about me, and then everyone who hadn’t ordered decided they didn’t want to support a business that was being aggressive towards me. I don’t know if he didn’t like the way I was dressed or what, but it was really upsetting. I’ve had good experiences with the other men running this truck in the past but I don’t know why there was such hostility this time. We certainly did not come here with hate, we were excited to support a local business and celebrate my birthday but this kind of ruined the evening. Parked in lot and called to place order and was rudly told I had to come pay first like I was going to skip out on the guy nbd not the end of the world still shouldve trusted my intuition and left at that point though . Ordered lamb souvlaki platter and asked whats the crowd favorite being I'm not a meat eater was hoping to get some feedback from this guy about falafel grape leaves etc and all he kept saying smart assedly is everything is good. Then asked about food being halal and he said yes but wasn't confident in that response plus I see no signs on his truck saying anything about halal. My dad ate the meat,I ate the rice salad and yogurt which I liked all three however my dad said the meat didn't taste like lamb and was a little bland,not bad but a little bland and more like beef tips. I would've just ordered my own dish and more stuff for my family but dudes attitude turned me off big time.. Save your $9 and drive down the street to the short north and order Brassica for quality Mediterranean food and more importantly no attitude by a guy who'd clearly rather be standing outside of his truck chain smoking than inside making his only customer in a window of 30...

We went as a group late last night to order, when we tried to order they didn’t have much food left to choose from which is perfectly fine but the person working was extremely short with us seemingly not wanting to take our orders. To add to that it was our friend’s birthday and they loved their outfit so they were taking pictures/selfies and the person working was extremely rude about it and repeatedly kept asking what they were doing and why were they taking pictures, as he made our food he also was mumbling something to which I’m sure was about us he also gave our friend the wrong item as they ordered lamb and received beef.
