As a principal at a school in the neighborhood, I'm always on the lookout for great places to enjoy a meal, and Tasty Tacos came highly recommended by one of my teachers. Let me just say, I am so grateful for the recommendation because Tasty Tacos did not disappoint in any way! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance greeted me. The restaurant had a cozy and friendly atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. The decor and layout were tastefully done, and it was evident that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food! Oh boy, the food was absolutely fantastic! Tasty Tacos served up some of the most flavorful and mouthwatering tacos I have ever tasted. Every bite was a delight, and the variety of fillings and toppings they offered catered to every taste bud. Whether you're a meat lover or prefer vegetarian options, they have something for everyone. And let me tell you, their homemade chips, salsa, guacamole, and queso was a game-changer! The food service was top-notch too. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu. They made some excellent recommendations, ensuring that my meal was tailored to my preferences. I truly appreciated their dedication to making my dining experience enjoyable. As a principal, I often look for places to treat my teachers and staff, and I know I'll be bringing them back to Tasty Tacos very soon. It's a fantastic place to build team camaraderie and enjoy delicious food together. Tasty Tacos in Columbus, Ohio, is a hidden gem that every food lover must visit. The outstanding food, impeccable service, and warm ambiance make it an ideal spot for any occasion. I wholeheartedly recommend Tasty Tacos to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience. Kudos to the team for their dedication and passion! I'll definitely be back for more.

We've lived nearby for 5 years and passed this place daily and finally decided to give it a try. When we got there it was strange because there's 2 doors outside. We went to the one on the left and opened it and it was a black door. So we weren't sure about it. Went to the one on the right and there was a sign saying use the other door. So we went back and there was no one at the host stand. We stood there for a few not knowing if it was seat yourself or if someone was going to take us to a seat. Finally a girl came and please note it was not busy in there. 2 people at the bar and only 2 other tables seated. The music was incredibly loud.. there was no reason for it to be blasted at that level. We ordered margaritas and I will say they were very tasty. The menu says they offer watermelon but they didn't. The drinks came with flashing lights and decorations which was cute but they are $13 each. I asked for water and there was stuff floating in the water which looked like small particles so I passed on the water. When we ordered our meals we asked for the Wednesday special for biria quesadilla which was shown for $15 but the receipt showed more. The server had brought out the meals and then asked what kind of beans I wanted. I told her and then she forgot and brought them out near the end of my meal but I wasn't going to eat refried beans by themselves. Also, This place does charge extra for paying with your card so be aware. Overall the food was good. Homemade tortillas and really good tasting margs but the service and volume of music was very off-putting.

We heard about this restaurant from the Spanish speaking radio station La Raza 92.9 in Columbus, Ohio as they were promoting it. We walked in on Sunday after mass, super hungry and wanting to try this place out. We arrived and were seated immediately; they even asked us where we prefer to sit. We ordered a paloma and a Michelada. We looked over the entire menu to get familiar with what they offered. It contained a pretty good number of selections. We asked for recommendations, and they obliged. We tried their chicken and carnitas tacos, they were soo good, especially the carnitas. The carnitas had a mixture of meat (buche, cuerito, y carne) juicy and not dry. They were served on a full-size tortilla (hecha de mano). The salsas were really good (Caseras) especially the salsa hecha en molcajete. I also ordered a fried Tilapa dinner plate A la Diabla. It came with rice and a salad. It was really, really good and the rice was fluffy. Please see the pictures that we uploaded. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures of the Tilapia. My wife ordered the shrimp cocktail, and she enjoyed it. The juice had a really good taste to it.

Beware of Deceptive Practices at Tasty's Tacos!

I recently dined at Tasty's Tacos and was extremely disappointed with their deceptive pricing practices. The menu clearly listed prices for meals that included sides. However, when the bill arrived, I was shocked to see that I was charged significantly more than the listed prices. The sides, which were indicated as part of the meal, were charged as additional items without any prior disclosure.

This is a clear violation of the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act, which protects consumers from unfair and deceptive sales practices. Charging more than the advertised price without informing customers is not only unethical but also illegal. When questioned, the only girl that spoke English said the Manager was new and just hadn't changed the menus yet.

I urge everyone to be cautious when dining at Tasty's Tacos. Always double-check your bill and ensure that you are not being overcharged. Such practices should not be tolerated, and I hope the management takes immediate corrective action to prevent this from happening to other customers. All complaints of similar practices can be filed with the Ohio Attorney Generals office. Typical remedies include mandatory refund of overages, treble damages, and the restaurant may even be forcibly closed until their menus reflect actual prices and items included. The food is authentic and good, but the service and pricing is in immediate...
