Unfortunately had a bad experience, I got this place often but customer service completely failed and not only was i given a inedible cassava leaf and old rice (its almost as if they put beef in a blender every single bit had these little small grain off rice bones all through it) I called in and explained, was told they'd get me another next time i came in. I came in 3 days later, they charged me for both full price, i reminded them 4 times that they said theyd get me another, they told me theyd get me extra instead of giving me what they told me and stood on it. I just got a refund and left, they couldnt honor their word and expected me to pay again for alittle extra which i was never told. This was about the concept or i wouldve came back the same day to drop that garbage cassava leaf and old stale rice back off. Instead i trusted theyd deliver as they told me, they seemed confused when i got in there... wont be doing business their further. almost ruined the entire concept of cassava leaf for me how bad and how many tiny bones were throughout it... someone in the kitchen FAILED, and they continued to serve it. Very rude women working that cash register especially toward African Americans. Went there today bought tilapia grilled fish, it was burnt,over cooked and rubbery. So I called back and told the lady about it, she rudely stated what I wanted her to do about it. I then asked her can I pick up another after work. She stated I could. So I called and made the order, when I got there I was met with so much aggression she made sure she helped all the Africans first when she knew i was in line waiting before. I still remained calm. But these people forget that my ancestors are the reason why they are allowed over in America to begin with. They should have respect for anyone who comes in that shop. Found this gem on accident. Itsa a soul food restaurant I believe. A young female was kind enough to recommended jerk chicken, she was picking up her entree so she opened her bag and showed me what it look like it looked delicious so I had what she's been having. It was the best six large pieces of chicken thighs and legs rice and some kind of bananas that are fried or something I didn't think I like that but it was good it was spicy. And the gentleman that waited on me was super nice did a great job and it is a very good asset to this restaurant his name was AJ.
