The food is so amazing. The customer service is horrible. I donāt know if itās to be expected because of the reputation of their culture but itās really down right rude, if it wasnāt for the taste in their foods and them being so close to my house I wouldnāt support them at all. They have this unappreciative attitude. As if the customers should thank them instead of them thanking us. But when you walk in there like I said before the customer service sucks but the decor is really Caribbean down to the root. You can tell where they come from and their history. I love that. Iāll make this story short. When I called in some lady answered the phone and placed me on hold ācan you please holdā she didnāt wait for my answer. She thought she placed me on hold but turns out she just put the phone down and never muted it. I hear her telling someone there about a surgery she had on either her foot or arm. This was about 3-4 months ago. Well the lady had me on hold for about 15 plus minutes while she had this conversation. I only stayed on the line because I sent my husband to the Valās to place the order instead but I waited on that line just to see when sheāll ā pick upā the line. She never did. My husband went there to place an order and he told me the place didnāt even have customers. So I didnāt get placed on hold because they were busy. I was placed on hold so she can finish her conversation. I can give the food 100 stars but for customer service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food is absolutely amazing... however, I recently had a not so pleasant experience. I called to order ahead because I did not want to wait for preparation at the restaurant. The woman politely answered the phone and asked me to hold for take out. She placed the phone down and continued to have a pro-longed convo with, I am assuming a patron, for about 7 minutes without picking the phone back up and taking my order. I heard the conversation in the background.
I thought maybe she had forgotten she placed me on hold, so I hung up the phone with the intentions to call back and trigger her memory, and then FINALLY place my order. Keep in mind this was about 10 minutes after I originally placed the call...
I hang up and call back and of course now the phone is not going through because it is still off the hook. I continued to redial for about another 20 minutes and the call NEVER went through. This is terrible customer service!! I can only imagine how many others were attempting to call and could not because the woman forgot she left the phone off the hook. Not only did they lose my business for the night, but potentially many others who may have been hoping to place an order over the phone. Again, the food is amazing but that negative experience coerced me to explore...

Called and placed a order over the phone was getting their pepper steak plus sides. I was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes they even asked for my name. I had a twenty minute drive. When I show up I was told I have been waiting for you that they had got really busy and sold out of the food I had ordered and did I want something else I asked them if they had caller ID because now my time has been wasted. My reason for not going back is because I have waited sometimes a half and hour or more for my food after paying for it rude customer service by the man that would take orders at the window. I have tried to stick it out when other customers waiting along side me say they were never coming back. I was going out here two - three times a week mainly for my son who liked their jerk chicken. But I really felt disrespect when I was leaving and the owner said have a bless day really trying to dismiss me because...
