Waffle House — Restaurant in Columbus

Went there 10/4/2018 for breakfast. I ordered carryout bacon Patty melt with hash browns w/onions and a regular Patty melt and hash browns w/ extra onions and a extra extra light waffle.i made sure to tell the person taking my order that EVERY TIME I order my order is never right I don't like to complain I just want what I pay for. She stated ok she would make sure. I Waited the standard time upon waiting I realized that I had brought the wrong card in went in to ask my total so I could see if I had enough money on me or I would need to go home and get my other card. Well I ended up having enough but the service went sour from then on. I received my food, checked it and it was not right. I told the manager what I ordered and wat I got well what do you know she tells me that I didn't order that I'm like yes I repeated my order back to her the way I ordered it she then told me "well she didn't write it down that way" she was making it clear that she was not planning on fixing this. I explained to her again what I wanted I opened up my plate and showed her what i was saying she then took the plate from me left me with the top gave it to the cook the cook put some onions on the grill for a second then put them on my hash browns and handed the plate back to me. I was so angry I ordered extra onions on my Patty melt and hash browns and all I received was half cooked onions on top of my hasbrowns and no onions on my Patty melt. I then spoke to the lady that took my order and told her what was going on she stated she did take my order down the way I asked and was not sure what happened. Not to mention she told the cook to not place my waffle in the one particular waffle Iron because it was sticky. He did it anyway she also told him very light and it was nowhere near. As a former Waffle House waitress I do have to say this was one of the WORST WH visits I've ever had. I entered to soliders waiting for a table, tables not being cleared and wait staff just standing around.

When we finally sat down the first waitress couldn't get our simple order straight and we had to repeat ourselves several times. Then a different waitress came over to clarify our order (3 eggs lightly scrambled, bacon, plain hashbrowns and raisin toast). My Dad had coffee and requested splenda and creamer. Waitress left and we observed her wait on several other tables (getting drinks and orders) while my Dad waited for what felt like forever before she came back with the items

We get our food and I have to say that was the ONLY okay thing about our visit. A MAJOR issue was the plates were badly chipped with sharp edges. I have pictures if someone would like to see them. Its my experience that once plates get like that they are considered done and disposed of. Someone, including a child, could have easily cut themselves.

I understand that WH gets extremely busy, especially next to a base. But this wait staff needs to be retrained. Shut the place down for 2 days and retrain your staff. We were warned about going to this location but we figured we would give it a try. I'm sorry...

I went there to eat dinner with my brother, and I have never had such terrible service. When I arrived there was no other other customers there, and the waitress acted like I was inconveniencing her by being there. The food was good, but the service was god awful. I had to ask the waitress for silverware to be able to eat my food, she grabbed regular silverware and then looked at me and said actually here you go and gave me plastic to go silverware. I could not get her attention at all throughout the meal to try and get a refill on my drink. At the end of the meal my brother tried to place a to go order for his wife and she told him he could wait because another person just walked in the door. After almost 15 minutes she finally came back and took the to go order. She asked if we wanted any refills on our drinks and I said please, she walked away and never brought our refills. When she came back to our table she said that the to go order is done and she is waiting for us at the counter so...
