Lorenzo's Pizza — Restaurant in Commerce Charter Township

ok todays date is 4/20/25 yesterday on my way home from work im craving this pizza last year my boss at work got it for us at lunch one day , square deep dish omg awesome, so LAST YEAR i started making it my place to get on my way home i met a really nice guy that says he is family of the owners i said great got to know him after like 10 times of getting 2 square deep dish around $32 each time getting 2 , i would get double peperoni and cheese, alway like perfect, well i live in white lake so unless im working in walled lake its out of the way, my job is seasonal, so we started back up 2 weeks ago , on my way omg keeps sounding great, lol so yesterday i gave in called as i left work now been 1 year at least forgot the guys name so i say hi as he gives me standard greeting i ask for same he asked my name i tell him and i was just going to ask how much he hung up.. ok ... its a 15 min drive, i park go in i see no one , i ring bell on counter because the music playin was so loud , hes 1o ft from me making pizza boxes, ok .. come over says my order i say im that guy lol.. $50.95 I WENT WHAT.. but said ok paid it , he says 5 more mins, i go ok, i site on there bench and chill, ok 8mins go buy now im starting to smell like burnt toast, i say hey bro are my pizza"s done he stopping making boxes and says ya , turns to oven pulls them out now im really smelling burnt , IM GOING TO MYSELF WTF, he cuts then brings them over i pop the top on first box ALL THE PEPERONI ARE FLIPED UP AND SHRIVALED BURNT TAN BLACK AROUNF ALL THE EDGES , AND NOT EVEN DOUBLE THAT I PAID FOR LET ALONG CHEESE IS BUBBLED BROWN SPOTS , i say hell no i look at the other same crap , I SAY IM NOT THIS NOW , so he refunds me no apologetic for screwing the order matter a fact like owe well u dont like like get out kind of thing , i was blown away .. LETS ADD INSULT TO INJURY HE FOLLOWS ME OUT THE DOOR AND HOLDING THE 2 BOXES IN HIS HAND SAYS TO THE FIRST PERSON HE SEEING WANT A FREE PIZZA , WHAT YOU WOULD THINK HE WOULD HAVE OFFERED THAT TO ME , WOW IM SO DONE WITH THIS PLACE .. kids now day dont care don"t understand how to talk or treat a paying consumer very sad, i have told from last year at least 10 people how good this place was, good service great food, small part i left out my bad, after i paid and he went back to box stacking i called him up front and they have menus on counter i looked and did not even see the square pizza pricing so i say i dont see pricing for this he says oo ya there not on the menu ..lol red flag OO SO I JUST TRUST WHAT YOU SAY IT IS , that's so bs , oo i see i help your slow day.. ya won"t be going back , VERY...

I ordered pizza last night and I ordered it on slice. Because the website that the business recommends is not working. I placed an order for about $30 worth of pizza and then had my husband go grab it and apparently it was given out to doordash? I tried to figure out where it was taken because I never even put an address in.

We were just out of our money. I tried to get some type of compensation but the business would do nothing. They told me I have to call the number at the bottom of the receipt which I did and they told me I'll get an email within 24 hours.

I've never had this experience before and the fact that they wouldn't even just remake the pizza makes no sense to me. I love this place and I will never go back!! Customer service means more to me than a...

Good pizza, not great. Thursdays night special was very inexpensive. Crust was more "bready" and less like stretchy pizza dough than I prefer (similar to the texture of a Hot 'N Ready from little Caesars). Toppings had good flavor (spicy pepperoni and good onions).

I tried to call in the order, but couldn't get through to anyone, so I ended up placing the order online. When I mentioned it to the guy at the counter he said they turned the phone off that evening because they were too busy.
