Dunkin' — Restaurant in Commerce City

I went in to get a few donuts, just as a treat. I will not make the mistake of going here again. Better to brave the King Soopers across the street and the crowds. It would still be faster than the service here. You also get better donuts at a better price.

I ended up tossing 2 of the 4 donuts I bought and I hate wasting money on food. Usually I would eat them because I bought it. All tasted stale and bland and the two that I tossed after a bite, tasted off. Not exactly sour, but as if something went bad in the process.

Years ago I loved the original Dunkin Donuts brand. They made amazing donuts, fresh on property and they made these great cake donuts with the handles, hence their name. I asked about this from a various different stores over the last couple years. Not one employee even knew what I was talking about and I even got a couple, what a great idea, wonder why we stopped making them. Yeah that’s my question too.

Don’t waste your time or money here. Poor quality food with meh service.

I don’t normally plug another company on a negative review, but honestly DD has turned so bad in general at all their locations, we need options for our sweet tooth addictions. This Dunkin’ is awful. Was so excited to have one close by, but we have been here 3x and each time the employees have lied or messed up the order. On one trip, I was told they were out of croissants. I did not want a bagel or English muffin so asked for a refund. None of the employees knew how to process a refund, so then one said “I will go get a croissant.” I said, “So you do have them then?” The employee said they were frozen so they took longer to cook - it was an extra maybe 20 seconds before my sandwich was ready. Today, we ordered Snackin’ Bacon which was supposed to come with 8 strips, and the packs only had a few each and were covered in Hot Honey sauce. We went in to let them know we were given the wrong item and the manager and employees were argumentative and lied about that being the only way that food comes, which is not true as we have gotten the regular Bacon many times at other locations. Rude, unprofessional, and uncaring staff. I would rather go to the Cell Lot Dunkin’ at DIA than to this...

This place is horrible. Thought it would be nice to have a location closer to Brighton. The employees here have no idea what they are doing. Claimed they’ve always sold the hot honey snackin bacon and it was never made any other way. They did not take kindly to being corrected. The gentleman in front of me was returning his coffee, stating they couldn’t make a simple cappuccino correctly, so I am not the only one who thinks this place is a dumpster fire. Employees are arrogant and lazy. Claimed they couldn’t do refunds because they didn’t know how (what?!), takes 10 mins to order via the drive thru, they never have donuts available (it’s 10 am on a Saturday..how do you not have Boston Crème?). Managers look and act like felons. With Dutch Brothers and Ziggis within a 3 mile radius I hope they get smoked out quickly if they cannot make changes and get a grip on basic customer service.
