everything fresh great friendly service but they lack on picking up on little details. I order a bionico and apparently they didn't even bother to cleaning fully the strawberries they left the stems on it. price wise well, I don't think it's expensive but I have had best for that price. Also in their advertisements about price and products it's kind of deceiving. their price and product it's advertised in there board once they charge you the prices and amounts completely change more money and less product.
in the carnitas side ( yes these are two businesses well actually three combine business in one). let me start by saying that their Carnitas are really good. same problem though as the previous fruit parlor deceiving too many items advertised on the outside of the business once you get there at least half of the items advertise they don't have or just today was not my lucky day. I don't ask for quesadillas of flor de calabaza or quesadillas de calabaza because they don't have them or as I said today must not be my lucky day. Other than this everything else looks right. No for the third business is the bakery for them no negative comments they are would actually give them five star Plus. Their sweet bread is the best especially those almond sugar free cookies I truly recommend those. You don't like almond don't worry they do have pecan and they are delicious as well you need to stop by...
Read moreMy absolute favorite place to indulge on pork!! This family owned restaurant has the most amazing fried Chicharron, pork belly, rinds and every other part of the pig! The carnitas is slow cooked to the most tender result, and truly salted perfectly each time. They have freshly made salsas and honestly i now only order refried beans from this place. They are as authentic as it gets. Handmade corn tortillas make visiting this place a treat, and we look forward to our "fix" at keast once a week!! Too bad they don't have a chain to open another restaurant in a different area. They are located in Compton and we live in OC so that's really the only down side. My kids ordered carne asada street tacos and are happy campers each time. It's cute, clean and friendly service never ceases. Not to mention original Coca-Cola in glass bottles! So good. A must try!!! They cook all pork items once a day.. So when they're sold out that's it. My suggestion, Go early in the...
Read moreThe Southern California Edison Company had shut-off electricity to the business from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (according to the notice). When we arrived, the business had no lights, it was somewhat dark inside. It took us 45 minutes to arrive there & when the clerk said that they were still open for business, we were relieved. We ordered 3 burritos, 2 tacos, and $36 worth of mixed carnitas meats. The bill came to $95.00! When we opened the boxes of food, there were only 4 sauces but they were not spicy, No radishes or picked jalapeños were offered or provided either, We found 4 slices of lemon. We had to pay via Zelle, since the electricity was out. No receipt was provided either. The clerk, named Jose, was polite, apologetic, and tried his best to serve us. It just seemed so pricey for the...
