El Botanero — Restaurant in Concord

It was awful and horrible First and foremost I wanna say I wanted to go overthere for so long because I thought it was gonna be a nice environment, so last night we went overthere for my early birthday present, and let me tell you it was the most horrible experience I had in any restaurant. So we sat down to order some drinks and everything was nice until this guy that look homeless and drunk sat down beside us saying a lot of crazy things. We felt uncomfortable and wanted the guy to go and leave us alone but he looked like he was gonna cause a scene, we looked around to see if anyone of the servers and people that work there would had said something and NOBODY came, they were just letting that person harass us. So with that said we walked out and left I couldn’t even finish my drink because I felt annoyed. So we are never going there again. Hands-down one of the best Mexican restaurants I've eaten at; maybe even one of the best restaurants ever.

They don't provide free chips and salsa for a reason: the food is that good! Very friendly family staff. Pool table and karaoke area mean I can eat while I have a bit of fun (though I only eat there).

Tacos and burritos are great. Large portions, including soup. Definitely a must visit food...

We walked in at 8:30 pm and the waiter did not know English. There were a lot of Latinos huddled together and gave us all looks. The waiter proceeded to Google translate to us that they weren't serving food and chose to blast music 2 minutes after we arrived.
