UPDATE After a noticeable hiatus, I stopped by to see if things had changed. They in fact had. The rude server was gone. One of my favorite two cooks was there and they were happy to see me. The food was great and the owner is working to fix the incorrect pricing being charged by the register.

I’ve been coming here once a week for almost a year and today when I asked for a small Mexican crema on the side I was told it would be a dollar plus tax. I questioned it and the server wouldn’t budge and she pointed to the menu pricing. So I noticed the price for my esquites right above it was different than what I was charged. I started pulling out receipts where they’ve overcharged me. I casually offered to let it go - if she would give me the crema we could just call it a day. She reacted if I was being petty. Really? It’s ok to knowingly overcharge all customers repeatedly for months and then try to add insult to injury by trying to squeeze an extra dollar out of us a condiment equivalent in size to one or two packets of ketchup ? It was a nice run, but you just lost one of your only regulars.

Ps - I just got home and tasted the esquites. It had so much lime juice in it that it...

I would classify this place as an indoor food truck or lunch counter. You order your food at the register and wait for your number to be called and eat in a vast open area shared with the rest of the ongoing upcoming food court. No table service and you clean up after yourself.

I was told the best seller was the "billias" , a cross between a taco and quesadilla. There were 2 served with a sauce. You can probably eat this with your hands and dip in the sauce or use a knife and fork and pour the sauce on.

Just flew back in from Miami and was looking for more Cuban food so I gave this place a try. No Cuban food but good. Definitely try something new. Service was welcoming...

Wanted to try a local Mexican food truck but it was closed today so I ended up here. Needless to say it was a disappointing experience. Can someone explain why u would drench french fries in sauce to the point where they are a soggy mess? Yes birria is a soup but at least make sure the fries are crispy!! And on top of that, why is there no flavor in the Birria?? These fires were a hot mess. I also got the corn which was a mistake. Why was is so warm? It was truly gross. Nothing here tastes fresh, corn straight from the can, birria from Aldi and fries straight from the bag. Highly disappointed. $40 for this is embarrassing. Go to Azul near uptown for real...

Good food! Nice variety with street bowls (Cuban, Mexican, Carribean) all types of tacos, tamales, beef turnovers called Pastelitos, birra fries, and Walking Nachos. I had a popular street food sandwich made by dipping Telera bread in a flavourful guajillo pepper salsa and crisped to perfection traditional with potatoes and chorizo, refried beans, lettuce, salsa Verde, Queso fresco and Mexican crema. It's definitely good authentic food that you want to try out! Located in the Gibson Mills food court in Concord, NC.
