Imo's Pizza — Restaurant in Concord

Imo's has been a favorite pizza chain after Dominos and Pizza Hut tanked for us. We used to get one every month or two, but have now cut down given how generous they are with their cheese portions. The pizzas are always delicious, full of flavor, and filling to last you all day! We always get their large or extra large with tomatoes topping and it's always a hit! We've tried with chicken too and that has been a yes or no depending on the mood. Nonetheless, some branches do better than the others. This one is the closest to where we live and it's been a mix of hit and miss every time we've experimented so don't know really what to rate it.

We've tried their pasta and that didn't quite work in our flavor. It lacked seasoning, was just a blob of tomatoes, and the pasta was certainly overcooked. On our recent order, we tried their boneless chicken wings and we believe we've had better ones. The hot sauce wasn't hot enough, the pieces were tinier than the ones we were expecting. The sweet and tangy or sour (not sure what it was) was all sweet.

I don't know which employee made my Large 2 topping (saus/pep) on Tuesday night, but as always Imo's Tesson never disappoints.

There are very good pizzas and outstanding pizzas from this location consistently. I will admit that some of the very god ones in the past were not "scream it from the mountain tops" good, but his one fell under outstanding. I lived off Butler Hill for 8 years and this Imos was a weekly/monthly staple. Not sure why this location is consistently better than others (lets face it, any Imos is good, this location however might be the best, most consistent in the area - no offense to other locations, Tesson just NAILS it consistently.) And lets face it, When you are paying $15-18 for a large carryout, it better be good.

I have since moved to Affton but I will make the trip for carryout from Tesson. I have family members that live in South City and St. Charles that will come visit me just to eat pizza from this Imos.

I felt compelled to write a review because as I am eating cold leftover Imos for lunch today, it is still soooo...

The food is always good at this St. Louis Imo's location. Customer service has been on point too. I love all their food including pizzas, toasted raviolis, lasagna (perfectly baked every time), salads (with vinegar and oil dressing!), and let's not forget the chicken wing (mild and hot are both delicious!). The pizza sauce, I have to metion, tastes very good with sweet yet a zesty appeal to it. It's always nice visiting here for a good hot lunch and ice cold draft beer (Budweiser of course, this is St. Louis) or placing a delivery order after in the evening when everyone's hungry and tired (please tip your driver, they work hard to get our food to us while it's still hot and fresh)! Today a large pizza topped with pepperoni and bacon with an order of hot wings filled up a couple friends and I just right! Gave me that itis, want to go right to sleep now.
