Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Concord

Yet another horrible fast-food dump that does not care! We placed an order through Instacart for Jack in the Box, and it was beyond a bad decision. The receipt on the sealed bag was 100% correct but everything inside the bag was wrong. We were charged $38 for 2 small kids burgers and one apple juice. I called Jack in the Box, and they would let the phone ring and ring. After about two minutes someone would pick up, wait a second and hang up. I called Instacart and they said I needed to call Uber eats and they would take care of the mistake. I called Uber and the number I was given is not in service and there is no way possible to speak with a human at Uber. I called Instacart back and was told there was nothing they could do. I tried the store again for over an hour and they would just pick up and hang up... I called Instacart again and they said place the order again and they would reach out to Uber to get a refund, so we did. When the order arrived, we had two of the seven items in the bag, and both were made wrong! I tried to get it again and faced the same issue. I contacted my credit card company, and they said to file a negative review and if I had not heard from them within 48 hours to call them back and they would refund both orders and charge them back and I should also file a complaint with the BBB and I plan on doing so! Expect sour looks, confusion, and long wait times. I made an order late at night and the cashier could barely hear me had to pull up to the window to make my order which was hard for me to do because I dont have a menu or remember the whole menu. Came back on the 29th of November during the day and had full staff in the building from what I can see and made 3 online orders back to back but dining was closed so I couldn't pick up my order at the counter so I drove around and they wanted me to basically repeat 3 whole orders when I know they can see my order inside then was asked to pull up to the window so I did and was greeted by the manager which was trying to give me another order that was mine I told her thats not my order and thats when it all went down hill I received one drink for one of my orders but not the other and when the food came it was put together as ordered but was slightly cold then when I asked for my other drink I start getting bad looks like I'm trying to get over on them for a drink I hear one of the girls say I already gave them one drink thats when I said yes but I need the other drink when she handed it to me with a look of disbelief I read off my whole 3 orders to prove what I ordered and the manager was like ok so I drove off but I never had good experiences with this location and I'm no longer coming back to this one on top of it all I have no recite so its making it hard to leave feedback. I have wonderful memories of eating at Jack in the Box here in my neck of the woods (Norfolk & Va Beach, VA.) when I was a kid. However at some point while I was a teen they pulled out of the area and never came back. Much to my surprise I saw they were available while I was down in Charlotte last weekend and decided that I would grab a burger on my way out of town.

I popped into this Concord location and the building looked pretty cool, nothing like the buildings 70's era design that remains in my area. The staff was friendly and I ordered the Classic Buttery Burger with some curly fries and an iced tea. After a short wait they handed me a tray with everything freshly made and I took a seat and prepared to eat my meal. Then ARG!

So let's just pull the bandaid off. This burger stunk. No I don't mean it smelled bad, it didn't. It was dressed well, the meat was fresh, it was cooked properly. It's just a bad burger. I felt like I was eating something from a Murray's steaks. The thing was just beyond sub par.

End rant. Everything else about my burger was fine, Bun, toppings, etc. The curly fries were also excellent. If anyone from Jack in the Box ever reads this, guys you need to change your burger patties. Everyone's is better than this turd.

I've been told the taco's are good, and the chicken sandwiches as well so next time I try a Jack in the Box I'll go that route. But I'll never eat one of those beef patty's again. Not if it's like...
