My wife and I Love Marcos pizza, but tonight we had a terrible experience. In one of our pizzas that we order I found an caucasian hair, my wife call to inform them what we have found and the employee was very rude with my wife as if we lying about what we have found. My wife ask for a manager and was put on hold, little did she know was heard every comment that was made. So I took the phone to talk to the manager and she was asking for us to take a picture of the hair in the pizza, I told her that I remove the hair from the pizza but had the hair in a Ziploc bag. Jacqueline ( with red hair and blue eyes tattoos on her right arm ) told me how do she know if it’s not our hair??? First let’s get something straight I’m not wasting my time or yours to call you about a problem that we have with our order. I’m calling to let you know what we found and would like to know how could we resolve the problem at hand. Instead of listening to the customer she wanted to throw blame that it was our hair but yet my household is African-American not caucasian. I ask for a refund she stated the company do not do refunds they can remake the pizza. So I got into my car and drove to the location. Jacqueline came to the counter and to caucasian young women one with brunette hair and the other blonde with highlights was making pizzas, I told her again the problem and I showed her the hair that I remove from the pizza and place in the bag and she stated there is no way a hair can be in the pizza so I request to get the contact number for district manager or any manager and she stated that this is a franchise business but clearly I see her texting someone and taking pictures of the hair in the bag and pizza but she stated they did not have any district manager only the owner who is out of the country and will be back next week. It’s amaze me even though someone have a franchise you still have district managers? Or am I wrong?? Read moreI've ordered from Marco's a countless amount of times and have never had an issue with any of their restaurants until tonight. Driver never showed or delivered my ordered. Called and was disrespected. Even spoke to the driver on the phone who could not confidently tell me any details of my surroundings even said I didnt have a rug outside my door, when I do, although he claimed he showed up to my home and waited for 10 minutes. No one showed, there was no door bell, no knock at the door nothing. Then to blatantly lie to me about it saying I just didnt answer. I've been sitting right by the door. My door literally leads directly in to my living room and the apartment isnt that large to where I would miss anything! My girlfriend was even standing right by the door in anticipation of the food. No way we could have missed it. The level of disrespect I received from this store is ridiculous. The driver and manager continues to say I was lying. I would know if someone was at my home. They claim that the driver will being the order as soon as he can... which means now the food will be cold, probably tampered with, and I'm not going to receive any form of compensation..? I'm a manager myself of a restaurant and i know that is definitely not the correct protocol for what has happened. I hate to complain but the level of disrespect and the way I was talked to has me writing this review in Hope's it does not happen again or atleast if it does happen to someone else than they know they are not alone about this. Many friends and neighbors became fans of Marco's pizza because of our recommendation but now have all heard our unfortunate story. I do hate to see this Pizzaria go downhill. We suffered the most recent example of horrible customer service with Heather, the "manager". I called to report (not complain) that once again our food was incorrect. I prefaced the entire conversation by stating that I'm not looking for anything in return and realize this may not be their fault, but they needed to be aware that our DoorDash order was wrong again and thought they would want to know. After all they chose to do business with DD. No elevated voices or foul language. Heather talked over me repeatedly, cut me off, then finally hung up on me. Absolutely unacceptable!
