Sogo Restaurant — Restaurant in Concord

First time I came here the food was pretty good, but that was the only time it was ever done right. Two months ago I ordered my food from a lady who seemed she couldn't be bothered and instead wanted to play on her cell phone. After ordering and paying I see about 5 other customers come and go and get their food, while I still waited. After about 10 minutes of waiting I got fed up and asked for a refund, which took them about 25 minutes to trip over each other like unsupervised children to give to me. I decided to try again today, which was another mistake. I was the only customer in the store and my order was still prepared incorrectly. This business is run like a joke. The service is terrible, the cooks can't pay attention to simple orders, and the dining room is disgusting and looks like it has never been cleaned. Sorry sogo, I gave you two chances. 6-12-2025 I walked in to order my food. The young gentleman at the counter was nice. He took my order. As I sat down to observe the cooks making my food, I observed something alarming!! I over half the people waiting were DOOR DASHERS!!! What this means for YOU is that YOU REALLY don't see the places YOU order your food from!

The place was filthy! The light fixtures were dusty and dirty..lights above the kitchen had dead bugs in it..The drink machine hasn't been cleaned in lord knows how long. The cooks did not wear gloves,nor hair nets!! I watched them preparing various dishes ,never cleaning the station. If someone had a seafood allergy I'm pretty sure this was why!! I watched the young guy that took my order, push his hair back a few times,wipe his face off with his shirt...go from handling money to dropping egg rolls!!! Talk about nasty!! The egg rolls were greasy and tasted...

Had better $1 hamburger and service from most fast food places. Love real chinese food, but this was tasteless and greasy. Walked in at lunch on a weekday when empty and two customers ahead of me. The two guys together were waited on promptly and politely. After that she walked away without acknowledging me and returned 5 min later. The male cook in front of me didn't say a word to me. Notice that all three of us ordered the same thing, but noticed their plates were actually full. As for mine, it wasn't even a full serving for a male or even a child. Ask me if I wanted a drink, I said only a cup for water. She then charged me $.50 for the cup. Seriously $8 for all this. May I have another or maybe the next victim. Don't promote this. Thanks...
