The Cannoli Stop @ The Candy Shop Bakery, Cafe, and Gifts — Restaurant in Concord

My boyfriend and I stumbled in tonight in the midst of a rain storm and we were beyond surprised with what an adorable and friendly establishment this is! We were greeted by both owners with a smile; they were so excited that it was our first time in and were incredibly helpful in assisting us pick out cannolis. Upon leaving, they stopped us and offered us a bunch of cupcakes free of charge, as it was the end of the night and they were closed for the weekend and they didn’t want them to go to waste. I was baffled as they gladly bagged up a plethora of the yummiest cupcakes I have ever seen! As we left, I realized it was almost a half hour past closing time; they had stayed open late just to accommodate us. I am also happy to report that the cannolis and cupcakes taste AMAZING! We were set on having cannolis as our wedding dessert, and upon searching for a place to order them from, we stumbled upon The Cannoli Stop. I quickly got in touch with Melinda, and she was WONDERFUL! She had such great suggestions, and was really looking out for us! We ended up going with a small cake for us to cut, mini cannoli, mini brownies, mini cupcakes and Italian cookies. We also were able to order gluten free cannoli and cupcakes! Our guests all LOVED them! Melinda even made sure they matched our color scheme with the papers, frosting, and sprinkles/shimmer dust. We cannot recommend them enough! We absolutely LOVE this beautiful little gem and the cannoli are WONDERFUL! Still laughing at the guy who gave them a bad review and referred to the "regatta filling!" Yeah, ignore both the negatives because this small business owned and operated by a beautiful family of compassionate proud people who CHOOSE the nightmare of business ownership in 2024 to serve this community!
