Placed a $230 order today. It should be ready between 4:00 and 5. It text me that it's ready. We sit waiting after checking in for about 20 minutes. Nobody's coming out with any groceries except we think it's weird that people are loading their own cars in the pickup spots. I call into the store to see they said they're running behind. They're getting more people to help. We wait another about 15 minutes. Nobody comes to help this girl. She's the only one loading. At this point I've been there waiting for 30 to 40 minutes. I walk myself inside and there are four employees standing around talking at the last register near the door. I ask how I can speak with a manager. Two of them say we're managers. I said obviously your pickup area needs help. They're 14 cars parked. We've been over here 40 minutes. We still have not received groceries and there are cars lined around the lot back to the garage doors. I told them that they were holding people hostage because we have already paid for our groceries and now have to sit for over an hour waiting while they figure this out probably and probably longer than that as the looks of it when we left. I just need to get my groceries and go. They were rude, did not help and told me I would have to go talk to the employee in the yellow vest that was packaging orders at the door. I think as managers they should have stepped up and taken care of this situation, especially if two of you were managers and just standing and talking. They seemed clueless and uninterested about the situation. There were two other men waiting to pick up their own groceries to carry out need also. I remind you that we are in the grocery pickup line. I think if you didn't want to be a manager or actually manage the store then you should step out. It was ridiculous the Way they refused to do their job after being confronted with a valid point that you could clearly see from these registers was in chaos. Number one The conditions their employees had to work in today with no help is unacceptable .And they very well did not put the customer first. Plus what kind of managers sees their employees completely in the weeds and doesn't lift a finger to help them or their customers?. I sure hope somebody above them pulls the video...
Read moreWhen I first joined the experience was awesome. Now, it's borderline below mediocre. The craziness starts as soon as you get out of the car. There are carts littered all over the parking lot. I never used to have to show proof of membership to even walk into the door. Now it seems like every time I go through there, I have to show membership, and that's only been within the last month or two. I don't have to show membership at any of the other clubs, that I'm a member of until I checkout and leave the doors with the goods purchased. Which I totally agree with 100%. With my receipt. Well the lady(ies) at the front door entrance is checking every third person's credentials if they're not playing around jaw jacking. The lady that has stopped us three out of the last four times, has had a very poor attitude. I don't understand why employers will hire people, that are not happy to be there especially in today's economy. I'm not going to say her name. But her in particular has a very bad attitude towards clients. I've seen it throughout the store, with several others. However her attitude sticks in my mind. It seems like I, or my wife gets hit with it every time. My wife is honestly fed up with it. There are absolutely zero shopping carts at the door. Here's a brilliant idea, have her get out there and go get them so a disabled person, or an elderly person has easy access. Hasn't been in a month or so and I've been there about three times, maybe four. You're out of luck if you forget the grab one out of the returns. I'm about to start going to a different Sam's club, if things don't change, and IF it's the same at the other club in Winston-Salem..... I will not be renewing my membership next year. I come during mostly off peak hours and I don't get why there is not a cart available. That is dumbfounding, and beyond astonishing. At least do something right by the customer. If not, I have a feeling you're going to have a lot of clients going elsewhere if they aren't members of those other clubs already. You might want to do something about your parking lot too, because it floods when it down pours. Especially on the north side. The managers have no idea what there doing The way the managers let the employees disrespect the customers in this store is unbelievable. They need new management in this store. There lying, to customers. The STORE MANAGER told me that she is the highest for a complete, the manager on duty gave me the wrong numbers to put in a complaint. Over the next week a employee that was below the store manager. called me pertaining to be somone from the home office. When I asked who he was the man told me "a employee trying to help". He made it seem like I was talking to someone in the home office. IMPERSONATED a person over the store manager. I would Not recommending Sams Club to anyone I know from the way my i and my husband us treat at this Kannapolis Sam's Club. Someone needs to take action on the employee that stoled my card and the way my husband was treated by the costume severe employee in Customer Service. I have no name but she was there July 1, 2021 at opening.My husband is not on my card, he was checking on something forme. He was not buying any thing for me. This employee Stole my Membership card. Now Sams Club are not giving out cards. No I will not be renewing my card. The lady at the home office did sign me up for a new members card. I went to get my cards at another Sams Club. There no longer giving out cards. My business card was just renewed and was working fine. But this employee at this store took the Membership card and refused to give it back. That employee don't need to be working there.
