Sorrento's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Concord

On more than one occasion, the customer service has been extremely poor!

REPLY to the OWNER: we have been loyal customers for 4 yrs, we have put up with the poor customer service because we like the food but the treatment we have received from the front/cashier individual is no longer executable. The gentle man that works at the cashier station is abrupt and rude When I called in my order on 1/3/20 i started to cough as I was talking and the man HUNG up on ME! (Sorry but I have BRONCHITIS!) On one occasion, my husband went inside to p/u our order and they had LOST it!, my husband waited 45 min and still nothing, instead of making him wait, a staff member could have just asked him to replace the order, but nothing happened not even a "sorry sir, how can we help"

I went to the Acton Sorrentos and had Great service. Two pizzas were made for dine one, ready in 15. This past weekend went to Concord to dine in and said he could only sell slices because they were two busy for take out. I felt because thery we’re an but over an hour to close wanted to pain off their slices. Mind you had taken my two grandchildren for a hot fresh pizza. The slices were over burnt and very dried out, not to mention they charge way more for slices than a while pizza. My other daughter said that why couldn’t they make you a fresh cheese pizza? It takes 8 minutes. I’m ready disappointed with their trying to push their slices and deny making us a fresh pizza. Whoever is ownership , even the guys cooking knew he was wrong and said they were able to do it but he silencies their voices. When it’s good, it’s GOOD. Generally, if you buy a slice of cheese off the rack it is the best NY pizza by the slice in eastern Massachusetts. The flavor of the sauce and cheese and crust are nearly perfect, with a delicate crisp crust, and the cheese slices overall come close to some of the best places in NYC. The problem is 1) it can be a bit inconsistent, sometimes the slices are the BEST and other times they are less so; and 2) if you order a whole fresh pizza it comes out nothing like the reheated slices off the rack. You guys need to figure this out, because i have intel that Davey P has been planning a stop here in the near future for a review, and his score can make or break your business. El Prez always orders a whole pie so you better figure out how to make it come out the same as your slices because you never know when he might walk in...
