Mi Ranchito Tex-Mex — Restaurant in Concordia

I usually only eat one thing at this restaurant (Ranchero breakfast) because I don't like their breakfast food, namely biscuit and sausage gravy. It's nasty. Eggs are usually overcooked. Coffee is just ok. Nachos are pretty good, but I haven't tried the lunches. The restaurant is clean and the service ok. The owners are great. That being said, referring to another post that said how horrible their experience was, some of the people working there just have to get to know you before they'll warm up to you. 5/23 I'm so disappointed in the breakfast I usually get that I'm not going to order it again. I asked for hot tea, but the youngster who brought it gave me green tea. I'll try other items on the menu, but if they're as bad as my breakfast, I'm not going back. The only thing I liked was the chips and salsa. 7/7/23: Went for breakfast but ordered a fried chicken salad. Oh my, it was delicious! Lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers cut bite-sized, and a fried chicken cutlet sliced on top. It was so good; the best thing I've had at this restaurant. I'm definitely going to let my friends know. 4/10/24: I haven't been in a while so today when I stopped in for breakfast, I was very pleasantly surprised! The eggs were cooked perfectly!! Absolute joke! If I could give a negative I would. Walked in- waitress said nothing to us. No signs about seating yourself , or wait to be seated. Totally ignored. Sat down, waited 7 minutes before the waitress came to our table AND REPRIMANDED US WITH, "Next time you need to wait to be seated." We walked out at ate at Jitters Coffee House around the corner where we were welcomed with a smiling face, felt welcomed and experienced great customer service! If you like being crapped on, go to Mi Ranchito. If you love great customer service and EXCELLENT food- go to Jitters. I just want to give a huge shout-out to Mi Ranchito. My family of 18 needed a place to gather for breakfast today . we were seated close together and drinks and orders were taken. other customers began coming in and soon the place was packed. yes, it may have a longer than usual wait, but not that long . the food was hot and each person received exactly what they ordered.
