This is not an employee friendly workplace. When canceling a shift of a minor employee on the same day of the shift, they didn't check the employee file for a secondary phone number. When they were contacted to see if the parents number was listed, they admitted they didn't know. Upon them looking in her file they said a secondary number wasn't in her file. It was. We know this as we have a copy of the page turned in. They constantly don't work the teenager the full shifts or availability. Her check was shorted hours. When calling to inquire on it, they don't make time for their employees to discuss it. They have opportune times they tell the employee to call back for. With them being "an essential employer" during this time you would think her getting hours shouldn't be this hard. It's frustrating for our child and us. Her phone was off from lack of working and they had our number. We live 20 minutes away, it's pretty far from any employer she could work for. This was the store she had wanted to work for instead of one at a different town. They knew when she was hired and have been told on multiple occasions the inconvenience of not working her the full shifts. It's sad they do this to a worker who could grow into a valuable employee. You would think most McDonald's train teenagers all the time and they would have adopted better employee relations then this. They can't get or discuss their checks during certain times. She has had very good trainers. She has appreciated how much patience they have had with her. Yet, as a parent who knows better, this is not a place I would recommend any fellow teenagers use as a...
Read moreTHANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Today we stopped in at McDonalds to grab a bite and just to get out of the car for a bit. My 4 kids and myself(beyond stressed out by the way) were met by Alex. Alex, was so friendly patient as I had to argue with my children on what they wanted to eat instead of saying ummmmmm for 20 minutes. Alex made them laugh, didn’t miss any of our crazy order, was so very very kind and BEYOND great at customer service when Alex went above and beyond the essential job duties of a employee when Alex offered and followed threw helping us carry out all the food and drinks!! Made this mom tear up to hear Alex say “I figured you could use an extra hand if only for a moment. Hopefully this helps lessen the stress.” YES, YES Alex it most certainly did and I appreciate you for taking pride in your job, making us feel like we mattered and you cared, you listened to us and participated in the conversation. I don’t know how long you have been working here but Thank You so much. I know you probably have good and bad days like everyone but please don’t let those bad days steal your shine. You truly truly helped me more then you will ever know just by being kind and going that extra step. I would give it 10 stars but I can’t so you’ll have to settle with 5. McDonalds staff: thank you all for having a clean inside and out facility, welcoming staff, hot fresh food and all around comfortable atmosphere. I appreciate you!!!!
Thank you and God Bless you all

Read more20 minute wait, it's not busy, 2 meals, I get 4 straws? And a kids drink but no kids meal? So I go in there's at least 8 people in the back huddled around? I run a restaurant by myslef sometimes for 3 or 4 hours on busy day Thurs and Fri and make less mistakes, it's literally as simple as double or even triple checking the ticket, the kid who brought me my food didn't even understand that he needed to read the ticket, smh, but see last time is was a different person and the same issue happened, when they bring the food out they aren't looking at the tickets and whoever is packing the bags aren't looking at the tickets well enough, I mean sometimes it's just a burger and fries and this store will...
