La Herradura — Restaurant in Connell

Whenever we road trip through farm country and rural areas, we make sure to check for any awesome Mexican food offerings in the vicinity. While this one had pretty good reviews I have to say my chicken tacos were incredibly underwhelming. My husbands carne asada burrito The Jamaica juice was awesome and the beans and rice were just OK. They did have a drive-through which was cool but we did end up eating at their covered outdoor front porch area. I’ve been coming here ever since the owner had a little food truck. He now has a little sit down location. Service is usually pretty fast and the taste of the food is amazing! I usually get the burrito, but everything else on the menu is delicious as well! The quesadilla is probably my second favorite menu item, with the torta coming right after that. If you’re ever in Connell, or passing by on 395, stop at this place! It’s not too far off...
