I recently tried their all-beef frankfurter, and it did not disappoint. The hot dog was juicy, flavorful, and incredibly filling—perfect for those with hearty appetites. But the standout for me was the Italian-style chopped cheese. It was packed with flavor and had a wonderful combination of textures that made each bite enjoyable. Excitingly, Allen's is expanding their offerings with two new food trucks on the way—a Chinese cuisine truck and another focused on chicken and shrimp. It sounds like they are really ramping up their menu, which is fantastic news for food lovers in the area. Overall, if you're looking for a food truck that serves delicious, hearty meals with a creative twist, you can't go wrong with Allen's B's & D's. Where to begin?! When visiting past sun-down, Allen’s B’s N D’s is well lit up and easy to access with plentiful parking. Allen, the owner, is very kind, welcoming, and informative. Serving Canyon Lake its very own gem of original Chicago-style food. I was with a group and our orders pretty much casted a net over the menu. Personally I ordered the Italian Beef - all the way, hand dipped. Word of the wise- BE READY. The serving size is fit for a king and the taste is a complete overload sensation. If you’re coming from Chicago itself or trying for the first time I can confidently recommend this is the SPOT TO GO. I was able to taste the Burger and a Nathan’s bacon wrapped dog as well. Lightly saying this- I will be back- multiple times- with the effort to attempt every item on the menu. The fries are on point. There’s on site seating and music. Wait no longer!
