Burger King — Restaurant in Contiguous United States

GO THE EXTRA SMILE! Simple moments impacts lives everyday! It's on their back, literally! Being in a large family that not only travels a lot but active in sports and activities we are always in need a place sit down relax and refuel. We called other Burger King restaurants closer to our destination but none allow dine in. Its an inconvenience to them apparently. The one in Wapakoneta I personally have inconvenienced driving with a trailer. They wouldn't allow me to order at the window since I couldn't get close enough to trigger the sensor. The manager was quite nasty. However I spoke to Josh at this location and asked if Dine-in was allowed. All he said was, "yes." I thanked him and drove 15 miles out of the way just for that. When we arrived we were greeted with smiles and great service. The food was extremely fresh. (Best jalapeño bites to date from any Burger King) I even ordered the bites twice to see if I just got lucky. Nope 😉 twice they were fresh and delicious. They made fresh cookies for us and explained in detail why it would take so long. Again delicious! Josh was there with His staff. Every person young, old or in-between was greeted with a smile and had every need taken care of. But for those with Covid concerns they are taking every precaution as well to ensure your safety. This staff is working hard and giving that extra smile to not only provide a safe haven to eat but ensuring its clean while providing...

I typically eat there about once a week. Never have had problems in the past with this particular BK until Tuesday July 27 2021 at 5pm. I ordered the 2 for 10 meal and asked to hold the ketchup and mayonnaise. Unfortunately, the employees decided to wipe the condiments off of the bun. The young lady working the window seemed dismissive when I asked the for salt and pepper, yet said yes. Then proceeded to hand me my order minus salt and pepper. Generally I never go back to restaurants that operate this way, yet by in large and every other time I fo there, they're great. Fast friendly etc..... Do Better BK of Shawnee, you have always been the top BK in the area....

Don't get me wrong I really like Burger King but there is a pandemic going on the outside of this place may stay clean but the inside has some questionable things going on on my last visit the young woman the incident the speaker to take our order done so coughing and hacking up have her lungs it would seem no one wants to go out for something to eat and bring Corona home because these workers do not clean up after themselves they do not wear proper PPE and they don't have common sense enough to send the sick work or home so that she doesn't kids have any food or other people needless to say we pulled off and I will probably never go there ever...
