Burger King — Restaurant in Contiguous United States

Oct 3, 2023 at 10:15PM Was refused a order for food. I arrived from Kansas after 13 hours of driving. Checked into the Days Inn, just next door. Parking a truck is tough, so with Burger King, right next door, who needs to drive, I will walk. Dining room closed at 10PM, that is ok, I will walk through. I stood in front of the drive through area, said "hello", knowing the electronic gizmo failed me. I continued to walk to the drive thru window, tapped on the glass, showed my Days Inn key card, told them my truck is parked for the night. Asked if I could order. The response from the unknown employee told me I had to drive through to order and that they could not take walk through orders. I asked again, are you sure I have to go get my truck to get food, when I am right at the hotel next door? Her response was the same, no walk through allowed. I did not want to go inside, i wanted to wait outside for my food, never got that far. So the gas station cookies and beef jerky will have to do tonight. As a retired Command Sergeant Major with 24 years of service, I protected these young employees for just this moment. Did I really need to drive a chunk of metal just to hand her the same credit card I was going to use? Burger King on Hwy 20 in Cartersville Ga.. I have a 30 minute lunch break so I went to this BK because it is close to my office. Let me also say, I know people don't want to work and fast food catches the brunt of that and some shifts are run by 3 or maybe 4 employees and they can only do so much. But now back to my complaint. I sit in the drive thru for 6 minutes, yes I timed it, because no one ever came over the speaker letting me know, we will be right with you...sorry we're shorthanded please bear with us, nothing. So I pull up to see if they would take my order and one of the rudest ladies jurks the window open doesn't say a word, just looks at me like drop dead, I say I have been at the drive thru for a while, can I place my order here. I still was going to pay for food. The rude lady said I will have to park you. I say I can't do that and she says fine and slammed the window. Nope. This girl want ever be back to this Burger King on Hwy 20 in Cartersville GA. I have been there 3 times and waited but was treated with respect which is something I did not get today. Wish I would have gotten her name but didn't. Tried calling several times and no one answers the phone. So hopefully this complaint...

I went to the drive thru and got my bag of food and there was no fries in the bag, and it was different Burgers than what I had ordered, I give the bag back and I told the lady at the window and she tells another woman working there that there were no fries in the bag and that woman looks at me and accuses me of taking the fries out of the bag!! She went on a rant about how she knew she put fries in the bag and I told them I didn’t take any fries out and that she can look in my car and see there’s no fries! And the window worker actually looked in my car to see if there were fries in it!!! The manager comes out and he can clearly see that the worker making the bags is accusing a customer at the window of stealing fries!! He does nothing but tells them to move it along and doesn’t give me an apology or says anything to me, but has the window worker close the window, and I watched the woman making the bag she kept looking at me like I was a thief, it made me very uncomfortable, I was going to ask for my money back but when she opened the window back and gave me the bag I just left. I will not be back! I called customer service and left...
