Well here we are again, one week latter. We have the orange chicken and the orange flavor deep. It is the right amount. Not over powering on the chicken flavor. This time we added the home made hot sauce we did not know they had. A good sleeper, easy at first but the more added the bigger the bite. The Fried pork rice tonight was nice and I mean nice. We also had the Tung Ting shrimp. Shrimp was fresh and firm. Sause was light and smooth. Maybe best Chinese American East of the Mississippi. Wow! Everything was done right and I mean right. Some of the best American Chinese on the east coast. Picture One.
On our second visit in two weeks. It was as good as the first. Do not miss an opportunity to enjoy traditional American Chinese take out. Picture two and three are our second week orders. Food was hot and not over powering on the sause. Veggies are crisp but not undercooked. I recommend the garlic sauce on the side as it is a great side sause, just enough fire!
Back again on 8.30. Kung Po just right. Meaty. Lemon chicken with lemon on the side really done very well. Steamed Dumplings best outside of SF and close to being the...
Read moreHorrible! I go to China Wok maybe once a month. I’ve never had anything bad there. However the last 2x have been absolutely awful. Tonight was the last straw. I ordered for seven people. 4 orders of chicken (3 with fries), a bourbon chicken combo (includes pork fried rice and egg roll), orange chicken combo (shrimp fried rice and egg roll). The chicken wings had obviously been sitting for a while as they’d started to turn leather like on the tips, the French fries must have been dropped back in the fryer as they where brown and dripping with oil, the bourbon chicken (which I’ve never ordered from them before) was some kind of meat dipped in what was supposed to be the bourbon/teriyaki sauce yet it still managed to be flavorless, the orange chicken must have been hanging around all day, the outer layer made up most of the pieces and the parts that were meat you couldn’t eat because it was tough and hard due to being old, both sets of rice were decent, egg rolls were also old and when I bit into one an inner piece of the wrap came out and reminded me of my pup’s rawhide bone. Very disappointed and out of $60. Will never eat...
Read moreSometimes you just crave some Chinese take away. Whether it's fried rice, lo mein, general tso's, egg rolls or hot and sour soup. This restuarant will satisfy that craving.
Menu is pretty extensive for such a small place. There's seating for roughly 12 people. The main customer base is for take away.
Personally I ordered a full portion of the general tso's, a quart of hot and sour soup, and the shrimp with mixed vegetables lunch special. After tax and tip it was $34. Flavors were good. Some minor critiques... The general tso chicken pieces were breading heavy, hot and sour soup was a bit thin, and the white rice that came with the general tso's was a bit hard. But none of this was surprising to me.
If you're looking for basic well executed Chinese take away, China wok checks...
