I recently had the pleasure of dining at Domo Cafe, and I'm thrilled to share my fantastic experience. This place nails it on multiple fronts, from the cozy ambiance to the friendly service and mouthwatering food. The service here is just wonderful. The staff are not only friendly but also knowledgeable about the menu, adding a personal touch to the experience. They were always ready to help, making us feel right at home. Loved the fist bumps they give after you order! Now, the food - I tried the Beef Bulgogi Bento Box, and it was a taste explosion. The beef was tender and full of flavor, and the sides were a perfect match. The Boba Tea was also refreshingly delicious. I also gave the Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box a try, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy, and the teriyaki sauce was on point. In a nutshell, Domo Cafe is a must-visit. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and outstanding food. I'm definitely coming back for more. It's an experience you won't want to miss! EDITED: Recently visited again and it was incredible, all food is great! Will definitely go out of my way to eat here.

I've been looking for decent asian food in the area since I've been disappointed by other asian restaurants in the past. The reviews looked good so I decided to try the food. I ordered the avocado tuna roll and a chicken katsu curry bowl. Let me start by saying I'm fairly picky on sushi and curry because one I'm from Hawaii and two I've been to Japan to my standards are fairly high. The tuna roll was pretty good, however the cut of tuna they used was a little fatty. It had a few pieces where the white lines were more noticeable and it was chewier than I'm used too. But that won't prevent me from ordering it again. The chicken katsu curry was also awesome. It had a slight kick to it but it was an enjoyable surprising kick. The only thing I have to complain about is being that it was my first time it would've been helpful if someone greeted us and told us how things work. Meaning, order at the counter and then sit down. We were kind of just looking around and waiting. And finally we had asked people who were standing around us how it worked. Will come back in the future to try their ramen.

I've always wanted to try Asian food, so I treated myself to some today. I was going to dine in, but this restaurant was PACKED! It's a small, popular restaurant. I didn't know what to get, but somewhat had a general idea. I asked a customer in front of me, and also the cashier Queenie. I got the pork, which was well cooked and tender, over undon noodles. Queenie suggested the Asian curry, which is usually poured over the pork and noodles. But, I asked for my sauce to be on the side, just in case I didn't like it. I actually like the pork and noodles without the Asian, curry sauce. To me, the curry sauce is more like the canned, Castlebury's beef stew, but with Asian, curry sauce. I've always wanted to try kimchi. I tried it and never want it again! Queenie provided GREAT customer service and was very helpful. She was also very welcome. The environment gave great vibes. If ever I'm back in the area, I will try again. I highly recommend Domo Café. They give great portion size. I have enough for dinner. Thanks you all!

Update to below review: I receieved a call from the floor manager later this evening and was informed it was busy earlier in the evening and she did not have time to take care of the situation. Needless to say, She made everything right and went above our expectation and rectified the situation. I have never had a bad experience up to this point and always love getting the best service and food from domo so tonight was out of the ordinary.

I have been going to Domo Cafe for 4 years. I’ve always ordered the exact same order. Creamy Crunchy shrimp bowl Spicy level 2. I have tried level 0,1,2 and 3 on the spice levels and have found over the years that level 2 is perfect for me. Today i made a large order for family in town and recommend the same order for some family members. After picking up the food and sitting down at the table at home we tried everything and the shrimp was EXTREMELY spicy compared to normal, almost unbearable and i can handle spice. Also the sauce was very minimal and it was almost like it was all chili oil. The korean spicy bowl that was level 2 as well was not overly spicy at all. I decided after nobody wanted both meals that i was going to call and see if we could get both bowls of shrimp comped as everyone’s appetite was completely lost after the overly spicy shrimp bowls. After waiting for the manager she said that “They make the bowls the same every single time and there is no way it could be that spicy compared to normal” Now when i say i’ve had this meal a lot i mean probably over 50 times in the past 4 years. It has NEVER been this spicy. The only thing the “manager” wanted to do was make a new exact same bowl right now. I don’t 1. feel like driving all the way there and back 40 minute round trip and 2. have any appetite for the meal at all. When asked if i could come get the same bowl tomorrow and hope it’s better so my family members can try, the manager said no and that she knows it couldn’t have been that spicy. I am so upset and mind blown of the lack of care for the loyalty of a customer who always raves and recommends Domo...

Recently moved to the area and enjoyed this restaurant thoroughly the first few times I ventured out. Yesterday, we went there for lunch around 1pm and I bit down on a suprisingly large chunk of glass in the Japanese potato salad. I didn't want to make a deal out of it, but I did want to let the employees know because if it wasn't prepared in house, they needed to notify their distributor that the shipment could have been contaminated and needed replacing... if I bit down on glass, someone else could too and be injured in the process. We notified the staff and the cashier came out and typically said their policy is a full refund, which we agreed to. The cashier left for a moment, and then returned and stated that her manager said a refund would be "too difficult" and "mess up the system" so she offered us another meal... same exact thing.. to go for free. So in compensation, we're down from a full refund to a $7 replacement of the exact meal I found the glass in in the first place. The issue is not that I found the glass in the food in the first place; the issue is the fact the manager was notified of it and didn't make an appearance or compensate for it properly. She sent a cashier to do the work for her, an employee who's not paid to deal with these sorts of liability issues, and thus it was handled unsatisfactorily. I managed in a restaurant for years and know from experience that sometimes, unexepected things happen, but you have to deal with it and recover the guest in the best way possible, and that did not happen in this case. I loved this restaurant previously, but I will not be returning, and I suggest that not only do they contact their distributor about the potato salad and have it replaced, but they need to coach their managers on proper steps for guest recovery, regardless of whatever else...

You would never know from the parking lot, but this small restaurant was PACKED when we arrived. It was our very first visit and I wished I'd known ahead of time how they run things. Before you go, check out the menu online and choose what you want to eat. There is a cooler right by the register with Hawaiian drinks, sake, soju, beer and more. When you arrive, get in line for the register! Order your food and drinks at the register, pay, then they will seat you. You can leave an open tab at the register for ordering more food and drinks. We were holding up the line because we were first timers, and the servers were very kind. They seated us and allowed us to have traditional table service. When you arrive they greet you with a hearty "DOMO"! The servers are all very friendly and extremely helpful. They have recommendations for their favorites if you are torn between 2 rolls or which appetizer or Ramen to order. Now for the food! I wish I'd taken photos. Everything was nicely presented. We had the Domo bun. The combination of pickled veggies and pork with the bun were perfect! The Japanese basil wrapped tuna, battered and fried had the most delicious flavor. We dipped our sushi rolls in its leftover sauce. 😀 We had 2 rolls that were tasty on their own and accented more by the sauce from the above appetizer. We really like Terra beer, so we shared one. We tried soju (original flavor) for the first time. My husband liked it. It was a tad too sweet for me, but I rarely like sweet drinks. Soju is meant to be taken like shots, so we shared and sipped. We WILL be returning for more. We didn't get to the Ramen so it's next on our list as well as the many rolls we also want to try. Btw...many people ordered take-out. So if busy isn't your style, but flavor IS!, get take out. You won't be...
