Be careful when calling in your order. If they make a mistake with your order and you call back in to double check everything, they will advise you of canceling your order and make you pay over the phone before preparing your food. I placed an order with them over the phone. When I got off the phone the total just didn't seem right so I called back in to double check the order and it was wrong so they corrected it. I went in, paid for my food, and left. Later that night I got a phone call from them asking me for payment for food I didn't pick up. I explained to them that I paid for and picked up my food and that they must have made a mistake. I explained to them what transpired earlier that day and they said they understood. I thought all was well. I tried calling in an order today and now I have to pay over the phone before they will make the food and they accused me of canceling. I have never canceled with them. Quantity is there, quality is definitely not.

Their general chicken tastes like festival food. Bland, fried, boring, blah. No kick or spice whatsoever. Just a pile of fried, bland YUCK! I've had much better from a hole in the wall Chinese buffet. It was so bad that it went to the trash.

For a back up, I had their hot and sour soup. Same problem. Bland and no kick or spice to it at all. Just vegetables in water. By far the worst I have ever had. Tasted a lot like my mom's chicken vegetable soup. To the trash, on to pb&j I go. Absolutely sad!

If you want flavorful, quality chinese food, look elsewhere. This place is a total stinker. This place is for people who want to shovel a mountain of food down their throat, not caring about taste because they find their satisfaction being stuffed like a pig.

Normally, Golden China is an excellent choice for Chinese. Today, however, is not the case. I ordered, very specifically, a small hot sour soup which I was charged a dollar for extra tofu. I received egg drop soup. I found out about this at home when I was ready to eat.

I have a food allergy with eggs. I called and told the woman who took my order about this. She said that I ordered egg drop. I mentioned I would never have done that because of allergy. She insisted that I ordered egg drop. She hung up on me.

Golden China usually has the best service. I don't understand this because this woman is usually better than this. She must have had a bad day.

Oh, well. Guess I'm going over to Lee's Cafe across the street, which is ten times better but a little higher in price. How do they say it ---you get what...
