Golden Wings — Restaurant in Gretna

Most people say the wings are similar to Manchus, I wouldn't know. There is always a line. You can not call in orders and though online says there is a delivery and online option, there is NOT. Don't try calling, they won't answer. Don't leave a message, they won't call back. I have been here twice by request to order 50pc wings ($39.95 with tax). The wings are small, some looked dried out. I can say they are hot though. 1st time I waited 45 min on a Friday, second time I waited 20 min on. Sunday. If in a rush, go ahead of time. If packed, expto stand. Be prepared because there will be some characters come through. The lady and man behind the counter are pretty friendly. I Don't care for the atmosphere. I gave 4 Stars based on presentation, don't know how they taste but everyone says...

I from New Orleans but lives in Mississippi. My family is on the Westbank and that’s more reason for me to get a chicken plate with chicken fried rice and/or fries depending on if I have my grandchildren with me. I haven’t had any problems with my food. I always add green onions to my rice. If I get a salad, add extra pickles and mayonnaise with tomatoes. My grandchildren love going here and always ask if I’m stopping. I spend about $50 when they’re with me. My daughter gets shrimp on bun with eggs rolls and eats the children fries. Our go for as long as they’re located there. The lobby is small and the parking lot stays full. You have to keep in mind there’s other businesses...

Parking lot was full, so we had to wait for someone to pull out. Our food was ready in 15 minutes and smelled delicious. I asked for some ketchup and napkins and the lady told me that they don’t give ketchup for chicken. I don’t know if it was because I got a 50 pcs, but I have never been told that I can’t get packages of ketchup while picking up food. Ketchup is a condiment and I guess the no napkins means I’m suppose to wipe my hands on my shirt. Other than the fast service, placing my order was seamless. Some pieces of chicken were fried with feathers on. Although tasty, I probably won’t return...
