Well, it was my thirteenth wedding anniversary this week, and today is Friday the thirteenth. So me and the old lady decided to go get a cheap flash tattoo somewhere. All the places in town were a little expensive, so we found this spot on the Westbank. By the time we got there, the wait was looking crazy. We signed up anyway. After an hour, we were looking for some place to wet our whistles. This taco spot is in the same strip mall so we walked over. About twelve other people had the same idea. We pretty much filled the place up. This can be a nightmare for some smaller restaurants, especially when everyone wants margheritas in the middle of the day. The staff at this little taco place were nothing less than excellent. We were served quickly and in the right order. The drinks and food were awesome. We got shots and our server brought out a bowl of salt and freshly cut limes. The owner even came in just to make sure everyone was having a nice time. She was lovely.

We found this restaurant on Google. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner. Such a wonderful woman with a beautiful personality.

This restaurant is deep with sentimental value and history. She's spent some time talking with us about the hard times during the opening of the restaurant right before Hurricane Ida.

The street was shut down for two years!!!!! But she had so much support from so many people, and businesses that they survived something that would've, and did cripple, if not ruin most businesses.

Now to the food. One word..... WOW!!! The food was OUTSTANDING!!! The first bite was unexpected!! So much flavor that I didn't really need a sauce!!!

But they have a sweet and spicy sauce that is so well made that it's sweet at first. And then BAM!!!!! The spice kicks in!!! Truly amazing Mexican cuisine!!
