Nash & Smashed — Restaurant in Herndon

It wasn’t a very bad experience, but it wasn’t great either. The seating area was nice, but since the place combines multiple kitchens, including Indian, the smell was very strong and unpleasant. Eating a burger while surrounded by those heavy food aromas was not enjoyable.

I ordered from Nash and Smashed. The beef burger was good, but the chicken burger was really disappointing. It seemed like the chicken was refried, making it extremely dry, even though the sauce on it was tasty.

I would also mention that the prices felt a bit on the higher side considering the overall experience. In addition, adding a mandatory 18% service charge to the bill is, in my opinion, not a good practice. It would be much better to leave the tipping percentage up to...
