Pho New — Restaurant in McNair

I was in the area for a drs appointment with my mom and we decided to give this restaurant a try as we are both pho lovers. DISGUSTING! My mom ordered a spicy beef pho soup and swears the meat wasnt beef. It looked odd for sure and made her sick. I ordered a veg tofu pho and found a MAGGOT IN MY PHO!! I showed my mom in disbelief. We even google image searched it to be sure and yup thats extremely nasty. I told the cashier lady and showed her the insect as proof and she didnt charge us for my dish. However she showed it to one of the guys who worked in the kitchen and was coming back from doing something. HE WAS CONCERNINGLY INDIFFERRENT. I dont know what they said as they spoke with eachother in another language but the exchange was short and while her face seemed concerned his expression very clearly did not care nor was he surprised. I had previously posted a positive review for Pho New on Yelp, but after today's lunch experience I am taking it back. My coworkers and I eat here regularly, but never again after today's truly awful service.

We came around 12:30 and it took 15 minutes for waitstaff to even acknowledge us and we had to ask for menus. Then it took another 10 minutes for them come back with water and to take our order.

We waited until 1:30, asked several different waiters if our food would be ready soon and then gave up and left. The lunch combos were supposed to come with spring/summer rolls and drinks and they never brought them or refilled our waters. There were no apologies. Other customers who were seated after us were served before us.

This service is an unacceptable way to treat loyal customers and the three of us will not be returning. We'll find...

Let’s start with we have driven 4hrs from NYC to our hotel across the area The Embassy suites. My Daughter say she was hungry so we decide to come here to pick up some food before we head to our hotels. so, from the time we order and pick up our food left the restaurant go across the street which is 2 minutes drive. Check in (5min) get our room bring out the food. Pork chop was already COLD And Hard. ( REALLY !!!!) but we still try to eat it because my daughter was hungry. Then we start with the white rice and it’s mushy then I try the ( Chả ) that taste weird too . I paid $ 78.15 for 3 pork chop rice with eggs 1 Orders of fried chicken wing. That’s not cheap.
