Attended the Nada Surf concert, which was awesome. Posting a bunch of pics because I couldn’t find much info about the setup, what it looked like, etc. Anyway, you can bring a blanket, chairs, food, I guess whatever you’d normally bring to a park, or Wolf Trap. Didn’t really know any of this (except for the chair) beforehand. I had read parking reviews, which sounded bad, but ended up working out ok, satellite parking was a five minute walk. We arrived thirty minutes before the show start time (7:30), which actually started around 7:40ish and went to 9:20ish. There was a wine vendor, but didn’t see any concessions to get water. Read moreI went to see a concert at this park. The group was the Voices of Classic Soul. The group was excellent and brought back many pleasurable musical memories. The park made my experience even more wonderful. This was my first time visiting the park. I was immediately impressed with the concert area because it has a covering similar to astroturf. Since you were not sitting in grass, you didn't have to worry about being bitten by insects. I'm assuming the park was treated for insects because I didn't receive any bites. Read moreThis public Soccer field is super beautiful with lights for late evening games but it is much more than a soccer filed. It has a field surrounding track for jogging & walking. It has small & beautiful babies/kids parks. It has 3-4 long tennis courts. The elevated boundary on one side gives beautiful place to watch or record games.
