I work in the hospitality industry, so I understand how restaurants are adapting to changes and new policies during this time and the window set-up was well thought out for picking up drinks. That being said, it is entirely unsanitary to serve customers with milk so expired it resembles cottage cheese and I immediately gagged when drinking it! When I went back to the window to explain, they did not apologize but rather the manager yelled at the associate from the back that she cannot take the cup back while she was holding it because of COVID, embarrassing her while she stood there unsure what to do with the cup or what to tell me. The manager yelled to her to throw the cup out and asked the associate what was wrong with my order and saying what does she want (where I can hear her) from by the counter instead of walking over to see for herself and ask me. I waited for them to remake it and the second one I received was a large cup of warm cream and a TON of syrup, one piece of ice and must have been no espresso because the color of the cup was entirely white and I could not swallow this syrup milk concoction. I work nearby and often come to this location and did not recognize any of the staff, but I felt they did not care to truly fix the problem and I wasted $7. With so many Starbucks in the area, I will surely not return to...

Secondly when I did order I mentioned to the lady working the register Saturday 3/13 2:20 pm ,that I had a loyalty membership she insisted I pay first and then she’ll add the loyalty details which she did but there was a free drink that I could’ve used only if she would’ve let me enter my details before, I was disappointed.
Update: they are a good option regardless of my one time bad experience , the coffee tastes and smells great and the...

I prefer Peet’s coffee to Starbucks’; it’s richer and tastes fresher to me somehow. Although Peet’s espresso menu is similar to Starbucks, Peet’s recipes are more thoughtful and don’t seem as optimised for speed. For example, when you order an iced espresso drink, they spoon in a little foam—which improves the flavour and texture of the drink. A small touch, I know, but it makes a difference. Starbucks does...
