Real Talk:
We eat there around once a wk. Pizza Hoss is nice, close spot for a nice beer and watch some sports. The âgarage doorâ area is nice to sit at with a friend or two. OR even while u wait for your pizza. Personally, I am a fan of driving there, ordering the pizza to go, sit there and have a beer, then take the pizza home. While others times I bring the kids, order to go, kids play corn hole or throw the football, then home to eat. We switch it up quite a bit. We just had around 30-35 ppl from our ball team meet there for about 3 hours. Cody and Storm are great servers. We eat there around once a wk.
General Vibe: Pizza Hoss is like that quirky cousin you only see at family reunions but instantly love. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a hint of "mom and pop shop meets sports bar" vibe. It's the kind of place where you can feel at home, even if you're a first-time visitor.
The food at Pizza Hoss is a symphony of flavors that'll have your taste buds dancing the Macarena. From their classic âThe Big Hossâ pizza to their gourmet creations, every bite is a delight. And don't even get me started on their garlic knots â they're so good, they should be classified as a controlled substance.
The servers at Pizza Hoss are the unsung heroes of the restaurant world. They're friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile and a recommendation. They make you feel like you're part of the Pizza Hoss family, even if you're just there for a quick lunch.
The setup at Pizza Hoss is simple yet effective. The open indoor/outdoor bar allows you to watch the game, while you enjoy the corn hole madness. The only downside? You might find yourself spending more time there than you planned, thanks to the welcoming ambiance and delicious food.
In conclusion, Pizza Hoss is the kind of place that makes you want to hug the chef and high-five the servers. It's a little slice of pizza heaven that'll leave you craving more. So, grab your family, friends, or even just your appetite, and head on over to Pizza Hoss â you won't be disappointed.
Looking forward to the upgrades they make to the outside patio, music, and the...
Read moreA Friday night staple for our family, we love Pizza Hoss-Emory! The atmosphere is laid back and inviting. There can be a wait, but it's well worth it to us. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our go-to server is Evan! He's very friendly and always gets our order spot on! There's a pretty good draft beer selection and always plenty of games on the multiple big screens, so you won't miss any of the action, no matter the sports season. The music selection is good and my husband and I always have a good laugh saying "Listen! Remember this song!? ". It's a genuinely good vibe every time we dine in. IF something happens to come out wrong the staff really does go above and beyond to try to make it right, no questions asked. I really like the "Kitchen Sink" pizza, it's my go to! 9 different toppings with Lots of fresh veggies and meats. Our entire family agrees on "The Big Show", a classic pepperoni and sausage pizza blanketed with an extra layer of cheese that is ooey, gooey and melted to perfection. Their signature garlic knots are so good (swirl them around in all the extra garlic butter at the bottom of the bowl for even more delicious flavor). The cheesebread is perfection. Perfectly melted-lightly browned cheese, lots of good garlic butter flavor and a nice crispy crust. I always be sure to get an antipasto side salad too! The lettuce is always really fresh and they really load up the other salad toppings, so you're getting more than just a generic bowl of lettuce. If you find yourself having any room leftover after pizza, salad and knots-go for the cookie skillet. You won't be disappointed! With a family of 5, we are always looking for a good deal when dining out. Pizza Hoss is very reasonably priced, plus the portions are very generous so it's easy to get everyone fed without breaking the bank and usually with some leftovers for later. So glad to have such a fun, laid-back place so close to home. Pizza Hoss has our buisness and will continue to be how we spend our...
Read moreFirst and last time at this place. Simply put, donât spend your hard earned money here. Upon walking in, I had to squeeze and weave my way to the bar where I assumed take out orders were picked up. Any average size man would have the same problem. This place is packed full of tables and the layout is slacking hard. Once I finally completed my adventure to the bar near the expo rack, the âbartenderâ gave me a nasty look and directed to me to the other side of the bar for pickup, as if I were supposed to know? Whatâs the point? Once I walked all the way to the other side of the bar, she literally turned around within the same location I was originally at, grabbed the pizza and walked it all the way to the other end of the bar to hand me my $70 worth of two regular and one small pizza. First of all, why no chill bartender girl? Just hand me my pizza. Second of all, the pizza. Nothing fancy that I ordered, just the basic stuff. And yes, for $70, I was expecting some top shelf pizza once I made it home. But, no, that didnât happen, of course not. Man, frozen pizza comes out better than this. If you are going to charge this much, make it right. Or at least adjust your prices in accordance to the quality that the kitchen is sending out. Picture of the âMargheritaâ pizza for example. Cold, tastes like canned ragu, no fresh basil, no need to go on. For the other...
