So, someone said portions were good. I dont know if its a florida thing then. Because In NYC, the portion was at least double. We normally order 2 orders in NY but have left overs for the next day. Being we were on vacation, we didnt want to have leftovers, so we ordered a Fish Masala, Chicken Samosa, and Garlic Naan. Lets start with the Appetizer. The chicken Samosa was a little dark on the outside, signalling it was cooked a bit longer because it was probably frozen. When i bit into the edge, it was understandably hot. but i started to pick away to the middle and found it was a little cold. Cold enough it didnt feel hot or warm when i used my finger. If it sat for a min after frying, it might have warmed the middle up a bit. 2nd Samosa, sat longer on our table before we tried it and the middle was kinda warm. The 2nd one wasnt too bad. it tasted ok.

Fish Masala - when this came out, i was shocked at how small the plate/container was. Then when the rice was put on the table, it was a tiny shallow bowl. Additional bowls are 2.50. In NYC, we get at least 2 to 2.5 times the amount per person. The flavor was pretty good. wasnt bad at all. That was a plus.

They forgot our Garlic Naan. When it came out, it was luke warm as if it was sitting there waiting to be taken out. That wasnt the worst part. It was bland. like we ordered regular Naan. I could see the film of butter and what looked like garlic but it wasnt much. I was dissappointed.

So if you are on a budget, i wouldnt go there. but if you are not, then its pretty decent overall despite our experience. Waitstaff was kind and friendly, and it had a cozy...

Horrible customer service!!!

We came to this restaurant because our family highly recommend them because they ate dinner there a few days before and had an amazing waiter. The waiter (who turned out to be the owner) was extremely rude, told us that he had to come in earlier because he was covering for someone and didn’t pay attention to our order at all. He specifically asked if the checks would be split and we said we needed two checks. Our order started to come to our table my appetizer came 1st, then all the rice that everyone ordered. About 5mins later our main dishes made it to the table. Our drinks (mango lassie & coke) never made it to our table along with a side dish because the owner obviously lacks communication skills with his team. He stayed at the bar talking to another lady instead of checking in with us to see if anything was missing or if we needed a refill of waters. The waitress that brought us our food got to hear the worst part of everything because everything was incorrect. We knew it wasn’t her fault but she was willing to hear our concerns. Almost $300 later the service never improved on the owners part, the food is delicious but the service was terrible. Our entire family of 9 are all in customer service and we have an expectation as to how we should be treated. We did voice our concerns to the owner and he didn’t seem fazed, he decided to just play the blame game and not own up to his lack of customer service. We found out the waiter that was there a few days before who is an expert at customer was the...

Horrible experience, rude staff, did not even get order. We were staying in the resort across the door and visited the restaurant on 22 June 2025. As we were quite tired, we just ordered 2 aloo paranthas for takeaway and confirmed wirh staff if it will be ready in 15 min. I guess quite a sufficient time to make 2 aloo paranthas. We came back to restaurant to pick up food after 9.15pm. Everytime we asked how much time more the staff at the counter said 2 min, went into kitchen came back after 5 min, 10 mins and responded saying our order was next. What we clearly realised they were not bothered, there was one table occupied in whole restaurant, they came after we came but their order came first, when asked to staff about it, they became aggressive and rude. Blunt response you want your money back . We saw another family waiting for food. They were committed for 9pm but did not get order till 9.30. So finally we left without food after waiting for aloo parantha for more than 45min. The worst thing was staff did not have a little bit of remorse for blatant lies and seeing that customer left without getting food. What can be more embarrassing for a restaurant. Worst ever experience in an Indian restaurant if indeed it was an Indian restaurant or a cheap copy saying they were an Indian restaurant. We stayed for 6 days in the resort and would have definatley come back if we were treated with little respect and told honestly it takes more than 45 mins in an...

So I am spoiled as I have enjoyed eating at some excellent Indian Restaurants. We chose the Royal Indian Cuisine restaurant because it had a high star rating. The restaurant decor is fine. The service was friendly. But the food was not really very good. The spices made food, well, a little spicy but the flavors were otherwise few and far between. The Mixed Tandoori grill was dry and just not nice. Most if it left uneaten My Tandoori Tilapia was again spicy but not blessed with nice aromatics or much flavor beyond being a little 'hot'. I also left a lot of this dish uneaten. The best we ate of the three dishes was the Eggplant Bharati. Not bad and certainly more of an Indian meal flavor to me, but the oils uses in the dish made it more greasy than I am accustomed to for this type of Indian dish. If you have never tried an American Indian Restaurant before then I suggest you avoid this as it might put you off. In fairness, we are at (hopefully) the back end of a pandemic, so maybe this place has struggled. Check out more recent reviews in the future as maybe we got this on an off-day. We for one won't be going back - simply because of the food. The rest of the experience was totally fine.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem for Indian food while stay-cationing near Disney Springs/Lake Buena Vista area..and so glad we did! The owner and chef seemed to be the only ones working during this evening due to Covid19. The restaurant was sadly empty. But you could tell that they were normally very busy outside of the covid pandemic. The restaurant is large for an Indian restaurant, and has a full bar as well. Very well designed space in my opinion. The food was immaculate. We ordered the chicken biryani, lamb shank, and chicken chetinad curry with some garlic naan. Each and every dish was so perfectly rich in flavor, with the best of spices. I was savoring every bite. Being Indian, I somewhat of a Indian food critic. My parents and I were all thoroughly impressed. We ordered the carrot halwa and the rasmalai for dessert. Very good! The owner was so pleasant and friendly, and definitely made us feel welcomed. At the end of the evening, the famous chef, Durga Prasad, came over and greeted us! Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Orlando thus far. We will definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment, and I must say that the food was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and we were able to try a variety of dishes. We ordered the chicken 65, gobi Manchurian, chicken vindaloo, mutton biryani, bullet naan, falooda, mango lassi, and salt lassi. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with the right balance of spices. However, I did notice that some of the dishes had an excessive amount of food coloring, which was a minor drawback. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations when needed. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. The generous portions, attentive staff, and flavorful dishes make it a must-visit destination. *Recommendation:* Definitely worth a visit for Indian food enthusiasts!
