Ruff N Ready Crab House — Restaurant in Chillum

Okay, so I heard this was a great spot to but crab in summer, however I went in winter, recently. The issue I observe was that the neighborhood it serves were of mostly people who uses an EBT card buT I didn’t realize that until after this incident happened. So I’m not from the area, as a matter of fact I drove all the way from a different area to try their crab because I heard it was good. After speaking with the cashier with what I wanted to order, he decided to make the remark that he not able to take EBT card for full purchase because the laws have changed. So. This is me😕😕 because I’m like ‘wth’ first of all, why on earth would u assume that I was going to pay with an EBT card. Then he was trying to tell me that it’s just the law and blah blah. So I said, “Second of all, I came with my credit card and debit card to pay for my stuff , wouldn’t it be more logical to ask me ‘how will you be making payment?’ Then allow me to tell u before u make such a judgement?” The cashier was a white guy by the way which made the whole scenario very appalling. Very disappointed paid $30 for a dozen of male crabs they're very small 4 inches not even 5 the legal limit the crabs was cold on the inside but on the outside of the shell it was warm I asked for hot crabs fresh you gave me crabs that you cooked yesterday and reheated them to sell to me today that is totally unfair then you put a bunch of spice on top of them to make it look like they were fresh I will not be buying from you again they taste very salty very unhappy I bought crabs from you in the past but your service is going downhill but it's not going to be at my expense anymore the crabs had their legs missing off of them even the punchers and you put nothing in the bag to make a difference. July 22, 2022 purchased pound of shrimp then returned home an hour away. Proceeded to eat shrimp and found first one soft and mushy. Opened second shrimp was soft as it if not cooked completely. Went through several more to find same condition. Tried to call number on website and it’s just a recording and no other options to speak personally. This is totally unexceptionable from any food establishments and it was to far to drive back to return under cooked or spoiled shrimp. Food cost too much throw it away because of quality issues unable to consume. Totally disappointed and feel very upset of experience that occurred. Needless to say I will not spend or frequent this place again ever in future. Please beware of ruff n ready shrimp quality which is very poor. Please beware...
