This Starbucks always makes excellent drinks. I just moved here so I may be a little biased of my old store, which was also always very busy.. but the wait time here is unbelievably long. I thought I had it figured out this morning before work at 9:30 AM so I made a mobile order while I was at home at 8:43 AM. I work from home and this Starbucks is 2 miles from my home. I got a notification that my order of a Venti Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso, a tall vanilla Frappuccino with caramel drizzle for my 8 year old and a cake pop for my toddler would be ready at 9:07 AM. I was like, “score!” Just order ahead from now on. Well, I was already embarrassed going in because I had some old cheerleader shorts and a tank top.. basically pajamas. But I judge people who do a mobile order and then go thru the drive thru, I try to be courteous to Starbucks employees and other customers. I got to Starbucks at 8:50 AM & out of the car at 9:05 AM and my drink was already ready. But lo and behold.. other 2 things are still being made. I was like no problem, I’ll just go in the corner over here and hide for 2 minutes .. no biggie. 9:07 AM of courses passes.. 9:10, 9:15, 9:20 AM. I finally went up to the counter at 9:25 and asked for a refund since I was now going to be late for work. The cashier then bagged up the cake pop and gave it to me and refunded me for my 8 year olds Frappuccino.
I waited 45 minutes for a mobile order. 15 minutes for my shaken espresso which is reasonable and then 35 minutes for a cake pop. Never got my daughter’s drink. This has happened multiple times, thankfully the other times , I had time to wait and wasn’t late for work. But this is wild to wait 45 minutes for 2 drinks and a food item that just has to be taken out of the refrigerator and put in a bag. The mobile order gives you a time and I expect it to be correct.
My issue is NOT with the employees. I didn’t once see any of them goofing off or not utilizing their time. As some one in management, this is automatically my first thought.. whomever is over these employees is either 1. Not aware of the workload of these employees and attempts to run a 10 person crew with only 6 people.. or 2. Hasn’t trained their team correctly about prioritization and time management. or 3, which reverts back to 1, but Isn’t given the proper funds or the ability to expand their team by the owner or corporate — which is laying fault on them and not management.
This is a great store and their drinks are top tier. And this is coming from someone who has been to over probably 30 different Starbucks. But the wait time is a no-go. The employees are always a delight and like I said, the drinks are perfectly made. It’s just the time that it takes to get these orders out is what is making this store fail. I will of course stick around because it’s closest to my home but I really hope this review is taken in heed because some customers...
Read moreI just encountered the worst experience at this location. My friend and I placed an order with the cashier (Truck) at 12:06pm on Sunday, Feb 26th 12:06pm. My friend received her order two minutes later. I ordered the same thing directly after with Truck (cashier). Other customers came in minutes after me and received their orders. I inquired if the sandwich sitting by the drink area belonged to me? The name on the sandwich was Laura, very odd as I used my app to pay for the order and it was 1 of 2 orders from the order I placed. The cashier was very rude and told me it's taking a long time because they had one person making the sandwiches and did not offer a resolution. My friend complained to the person behind the register making the drinks, he said "he's not in charge of food orders". That's fine, but no one checked to see if the sandwich waiting by the drinks was mine with the wrong name. The cashier left her register and walked over to my friend who was sitting down eating her meal and told her to leave the store very rudely in front of other customers. My friend is a 60 year old woman who also lives in the community. The cashier was mad because my friend complained to her coworker and several customers complained that the cashier is taking a long time with their orders as well. Very embarrassing as I've never experienced this type of service from Starbucks in 20+ years of being a customer. Instead of making a new sandwich for me she offered a refund. She said they ran out of turkey and can no longer make my sandwich. Which was a lie. I looked at my app, I placed the order at 12:06pm...the refund receipt time is 12:24pm. They are extremely slow and lack customer service. Very...
Read moreThis Starbucks location is the absolute worse. We've ordered plenty of times from this location, but recently it has seems as if the quality and the service have just gone downhill. The first instance of this happening was when we've ordered a venti iced pumpkin creme chai latte with extra caramel drizzle and cinnamon on top. The drive-through lines were long, mind you, so we were ready to go when we finally pulled up to the window. As the drink was handed to me, it already looked off, it looked like just a regular iced coffee with some foam at the top, and when I tasted it that is exactly what it was, regular coffee, which I did not ask for. We decided to return the drink and instead get our money back through gift cards. When the blond-haired light skinned black woman gave us the gift card, we wanted to confirm that $10 was on the gift card. She confirmed it and said, "Yes". Fast forward a week or so, we come back, try to use the gift card, and guess what? It’s empty. Completely unactivated. Because of course it is. Why bother doing your job right when you can just pretend to and move on, right? At this point, I almost have to laugh. This place doesn’t just miss the mark it doesn’t even aim anymore. From the botched drinks to the dismissive attitude to the fake refund, it’s giving “we simply don’t care.” If Starbucks ever needs a training video on how to drive away loyal customers, this location’s got it covered. Smh that’s how you miss your blessings and your business. If I could give this location a zero,...
