Susie's Grill — Restaurant in Spring Hill

Well we're looking for a new and hopefully good restaurant as it's slim pickings in the Hudson , Spring Hill area asked if they had served Alcohol was given the beers on tap etc and I said "thank you , but I meant liquor" and was told " Full Service Bar" I asked for a "Salty Dog please ?" Told "no grapefruit juice " yet they serve breakfast as well and this is Florida , right ? So settled for the most God Awful Bloody Mary in a short rocks glass basically light red as more vodka than tomato juice and had to have at least a teaspoon of horseradish with no other seasoning or flavor and No Garnish I mean not even a lime or lemon wedge or especially the celery stalk that is the signature of a Bloody Mary , wings were good as was the caprese salad appetizers ,but the chicken cordon blue sandwich not so much the chicken was like chopped up in pieces as to where I've always been served a whole breast or filet awkward to eat and the philly cheese steak was more crusty , crumbly bread than meat in it and the fact your sides are only coleslaw and a dill pickle are less to be desired with tip bill was like $45.00 not worth the disappointing experience , first off a child could have made a better Bloody Mary garnish and all and could offer more of a selection for sides like French fries, pasta salad or chips were talking burgers , hoagies and sandwiches right ? Or for entrees dinners you get a house salad that's it . The service was the only pleasant part I Believe her name was Kelly ? You'd be better off going elsewhere , but that's just...

Me and my mother in law came here for breakfast with my two children. We were seated ect with no issue. Our server had no want to answer our questions. I asked about a kids menu and they said they didn't have any printed out which isn't a big deal. But expecting me to order TWO adult breakfast meals for children is a scam all the way around. When they came out the portions were too large for even an adult. It looked slopped on the plate and the strawberries were bad/rotten. When my mother in law who is just the sweetest person brought this up to the server she left and an old lady with colored hair came to our table asking us what do we expect her to do about it. Very rude and not customer oriented. I was a restaurant manager for over 10 years and there's no way I would allow someone with that attitude to 'run' my restaurant. Explains why this place has gone so down hill. Not to mention watch your bill when you check out and make them give you a breakdown. When I did this the two meals I ordered my children were different prices but it was the exact same meal. Seems like they just charge what they want which is why they don't total your bill and give it to you at your table they make you get up and a lady does it while you are standing to checkout at the register. Not an honest place so if you go make sure you look at your bill breakdown very closely and expect to get attitude from the manager when you ask for it to be broken down. Never going back. Not kid friendly at all. not people...

a definite place you would pass by if you weren't looking, the exterior is that of an plain building with some letters on the front very unassuming. Once you step inside of the restaurant however it's very pleasantly suprising as to how nice it is decor wise, the staff were pleasant and quite attentive. The menu is a plain diner type basic cheeseburgers and appetizers and serving breakfast into the afternoon should you want that, all and all an ok place to grab a quick bite...although my only gripe is when we got the check there was no total just the cost of each item, seemed strange but apparently this is how they do things there, one other and it's very tiny but I assume usually when you order a sandwhich or burger typically they come with fries or any side, nope that's separate so make sure to ask should you want a side that normally would come with the meal...but again prices are reasonable, clean and friendly environment, my only thing again is maybe do something to the outside of the building possibly paint it, make it stand out a bit...and maybe replace the falling apart menus other than that again decent place...would I eat there again ? probably/probably not, kind of a forgetable...
