Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Florida

Huge disappointment. I ordered using Door Dash that was a corporate gift meal. I wanted good Thai food and saw the high review left in Door Dash for this restaurant and placed my order. Pad See Yew; egg rolls (not spring rolls); egg fried rice and coconut soup. All basics. Let's start with the main course, the Pad See Yew. 90% vegetables and 10% tasteless, overcooked flat noodles. Absolutely no flavor at all. I've been eating Thai for over 50 years and never expected what I received. Pad See Yew is usually one notch down from Drunken noodle with a rich brown sauce full of flavor and big flat noodles with slivers of delicate chicken and a few crisp carrots. The vegies in this dish were so grossly overcooked that I ended up picking out about a 1/2 cup of noodles and sliced chicken and the rest got dumped. They incorrectly sent spring rolls instead of the Egg rolls I ordered and tasted like paper so those got tossed too. The egg fried rice was good with medium flavor but the coconut soup was so watered down that it separated and looked awful and was also tasteless. What should have been a great gift meal ended up a huge disappointment. I decided to try to order from Thai cuisine, and I was kind of disappointed. The dish had been delivered by Uber and there were more noodles with very very little chicken in mine and very, very little beef and my husband‘s meal. They delivery was quick, but by the time we got the food, the eggrolls and the sampler platter with Rangoon were cold And hard. The wrap of the spring rolls was very hard and kind of chewy which made it unpleasant. Perhaps if we would have eaten there at the restaurant it might have been better fresher but for delivery now we were very dissatisfied. Our driver was extremely friendly. It was very easy to order and the price is very expensive for the little bit of meat you get. You are paying more for noodles. We might go back to try it fresh but I’m not sure it’s probably gonna be a long time before we actually do. And what I recommend it? Only to someone who would go to the actual restaurant and sit down and eat the food fresh. But I don’t recommend it be delivered. And be prepared to have more...

The wife and I stopped here one day to have lunch. I guess it was technically dinner since it was 4:00 p.m. . The first thing I noticed was the very eloquent decor throughout the restaurant. There were plenty of details that gave a real thai vibe. I also give bonus points to this restaurant for having appropriate music that matches the atmosphere. It was a pleasant surprise that a lot of restaurants don't do. We were greeted by two different servers who gave us the attention we needed throughout, and always greeted us with a smile and friendliness. As for the food, it tasted fresh and as if someone poured a lot of love into it. There was a variety of menu options, and both of what we ordered was very tasty. Honestly I don't know what else you could expect from a restaurant like this. We will be back.
