They just fixed the elevator after something like 4 months of it being out of service. I heard they are being sued by multiple members and that they don't have a lot of money. The pool has been out of service and drained since December of 2017. Every time I think it's summer I should go to the pool I remember it's drained and out of service. The gym lock changed and then they expected everyone to pay for a new key. They changed the lock they should have given everyone a new key instead of charging them for something they already have or done an old key for new key exchange. The gate to enter for residents is constantly out of service so it means you have to reverse and go into guests lane because the guard gates usually don't open it for you because they are busy vetting guests (it's their job I don't blame them). Sometimes the line is so long it goes into the street and it takes upwards of 20 to 30 minutes to get in because guests will block the residents lanes. Also they have the dumbest guest rules, you can't be parked for more than 4 hours or they tow, you can't be parked overnight if you're a guest or they tow. Basically as an adult the association tells you that if you're in a relationship that your significant other can't sleep over. Now on the plus side they are pretty relaxed about pets as long as you pick up, they are trying to fix their management and have fixed the elevator, they are fixing older building structures and rebuilding. There is a security gate. The rent is reasonable. Guest parking is larger than resident parking spaces.

Overall they are trying to improve but the rules for guests I think are just against most fundamental rights to do what you want to do as an adult.

The gym is falling apart. Wall mirrors have been cracked and hazardous since I moved in last year. The treadmill buttons are a hazard, they are missing chunks and shock you when you press what is left of the button, The elevator has been out of service since last summer, and when you call the office, all they can say is," I don't know." In fact, there is a notice to suspend license on the elevator presently. No attention has been paid to this matter. There are three pools - TWO of which have been empty/closed down since last summer. There is a $500 fee for pets, and not a single pet bag station in the entire complex. Security is unpleasant and demeaning at the front gate. They do not even call tenants, but ask for driver's license and apartment #, and extensive information - holding up the line at the entrance to the point that it blocks traffic. Once you have made it in, the visitor parking is basically nonexistent. Tenant parking is so tight, you practically have to crawl out of your trunk (I'm talking 1.5 feet max between cars. El peor sitio para vivir, no solo de Miami, pienso que de todo el planeta. Puede ser que te despiertes y no encuentres tu carro pues es muy probable se lo haya llevado la grúa, alegando que no tienes decal. Si invitas a alguien a casa no puede pasarse de las 2am pues le llevan el carro así que ni imagines invitar a nadie a pasar la noche ni en un caso de emergencia. solicitar un pase para casos de emergencias es como pedir que te den una limosna para agradecer toda una vida. Las áreas exteriores son super desagradables al punto de estar muy sucias y descuidadas, limpian los pasillos del edificio una vez al mes o cada dos meses, da vergüenza alguien venga a visitarte. Los desagues de las calles se inundan con una simple lluvia, dificultando el acceso a tu carro producto del agua que se acumula, vecinos de mas de 20 años me han contado que nunca han limpiado esa alcantarilla y que siempre eso sucede cuando llueve aunque sea poco. si vas a decirles sobre esto, se hacen los que no saben nada y por supuesto no lo arreglan. La mayoría de las veces los contenedores de basura están desbordados de residuos y los laterales llenos de objetos como muebles viejos, colchones, etc. En tiempos de lluvia la basura navega en el agua producto a la acumulación de agua de la que hablamos antes. Muchas luces en los pasillos dejan de funcionar y no hay quien las recambie. Si escribes tu numero de teléfono para vender tu carro te ponen un warning en el carro. No siempre ocurre esto, por lo que llego a pensar que hay favoritismos, pues uno de los vecinos estuvo vendiendo su carro con anuncios escritos en el cristal de su carro por mas de un mes y nunca vi que le pegaran ningún warning En la asociasion te tratan con desinterés e incluso llegan a faltarte el respeto no tomándote en cuenta y diciéndote que ellos no tienen tiempo para nada que las personas de la asociación tienen familia y trabajos que ellos no pueden perder el tiempo. Como si uno no tuviera trabajo, familia y tiempo perdido cada vez que tienes que ir a ellos a tratar de reclamar tus derechos. Especificamente un chico llamado Jose, casi ni te mira a la cara cuando hablas con el, no tomándote en serio, y cuando lo hace lo hace con actitud desafiante, irónica, haciéndote sentir como que no le importa nada de lo que estas planteando en ese momento incluso sugiriendo que si no estas de acuerdo con lo que te dice que contactes con los abogados de la asociación, con actitud retadora. Es una gran falta de respeto. Solo espero algún día el se de cuenta que todos somos seres humanos e iguales. No quiero pensar que me trate mal por algo relacionado con raza, sexualidad o religión.... Si alguien me hubiera advertido de todo esto hubiera rentado en otra...
