Update 7/13/25
Either they hire back their old chef or what but the Arepa de Huevo’s are back and as delicious as before!
Definitely will be coming back more often.
Make sure to speak Spanish because they don’t know English.

For over 6 years I've been coming to this bakery because I love their arepa de huevo & their buñuelos because they're delicious and fresh for times I do not want to make them at home until yesterday as my family and I had a terrible experience with their arepa de huevo. Texture was super hard, they seemed stale like they were old.

The place is a little small and not in a charming kind of way. That said, I won't give it a negative review because I'm very happy with just picking up the food and heading out. For me, the value is in the nostalgia. While I'm Venezuelan, and this is a Colombian place, the ambiance reminds me of the classic "corner store." I love that.
Regarding the scent, again, this doesn't hurt my positive review - it's just that if you're there for too long, the scent of fried oil will stick to your clothes.
