The Original Las Palomas Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Channelview

Hello and good day and what can I say omg We were down there doing business in the area and asked the gentleman we were doing business if he could recommend us a restaurant and he gave us Las Palmas and oh my gosh The food the service was excellent the meat was cooked perfectly the best fajitas even better than my mother's and that's saying a lot Just don't let her hear this lol I was fortunate enough to meet the owner that came to our table and gave us first class service it was so amazing This is now one of my most favorite Mexican restaurants in town and we live in Atascocita humble area by the lake and it is a bit of a drive down to that neighborhood but I will definitely be back at least once a month because the drive is worth the flavor and the tortillas are second to none five stars across the board everybody was wonderful the service was great the prices were fair I strongly recommend checking this place out and I am a restauranteer and a five-star chef and I've been doing restaurants most of my life and I find this to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in...

My husband and I have tried this place in the past few months and they are excellent all the way around when I call my order in. We wanted to try it out before COVID hit and if the service is anything like their service when I come to pick up, then I could imagine how it is on the inside. When I first call to place an order they are excellent at answering, taking your order, answering questions, and if you are placed on hold it is not for long. They give you an estimated pick up time and our order is always ready and hot and smelling delicious. Once you arrive it does not take them long to bring your order out. Basically their service is definitely excellent. I'm a person that will stick to my usual of eating food when it comes to certain places but I find myself trying different things with them and so far everything have been delicious and they have not disappointed us. I have no pictures to attach because we eat as soon as possible and there is never anything left over but a crumble. The aroma don't leave me to think about a picture before the food...

I have dined from this restaurant for years, since I was a child. I have had another instance where my order was completely wrong but dismissed it. Yesterday, the only reason why I didn't go back to this establishment after already making it home, was because of how aggravated I was. One of my orders was completely wrong and the tacos were POORLY CONSTRUCTED. I could have made that taco better if my eyes were closed and I had no hands. No one checked our order in front of us, and I guarantee that not one staff member even checked the order. It not only seemed that this establishment did not use proper protocol, but is also very careless. We both have busy schedules, so the last thing I want is to want this specific place, and this specific place let's me down AGAIN and is basically asking for us not to come back.
